Liked: The bright, large rooms and the beautiful cellar pub.

Liked: The people who work there were amazing and fun. It was so easy to meet people just by going to the pub downstairs

Disliked: There is a lack of computers but it is a good excuse to NOT check facebook and enjoy prague also after two people shower in the bathroom the bathroom floor is wet. and everything is just wet

Liked: location. good to get out of the tourist traps. the staff are amazing. the breakfast is great. the atmosphere is far superior to other hostels.

Disliked: nothing. however, some people didnt read the directions properly. remember that the tram to the hostels comes FROM your right and goes left. apart from that its a sinch.

Liked: Eventhough it's not very close to the tourist spots it is easy to go to these areas. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly!

Liked: -The staff was SUPER friendly and helpful, they gave useful advice on what to do in prague and nearby towns, and where to hang out at nite, etc., i really loved their attitude! everyone of them tried their best to answer our questions and help us! -the building and decoration are lovely. feels warm and like home! -the atmosphere was great, the bar was friendly and comfy, prices of drinks reasonable. -great kitchen! the hostel offers the basics like oil, sugar and salt, it's spacious and clean. -supermarkets nearby -bed and linen well made! and very comfortable bed+pillow! -free wifi - great reception! there were also computers with internet connection for free! -didn't try the breakfast but my roommates said it was great.

Disliked: -the bathroom was just alright, cox it's v. wet all the time and made the corridor very warm and humid as well

Liked: The breakfast bar was amazing! It cost 4 euros for unlimited scrambled eggs, onelettes, granola and yogurt, fresh bread with jam nutella and other confitures cheese and stuff and also had pancake mix ready to go! Best breakfast on our entire trip! Also the staff were amazing and had discount public transport tickets available, as well as computers, wifi, discounts and recommendations to nearby restaurants. Best hostel I've ever stayed at and I'm a brat so no matter what your expectations are, Sir tobys will exceed them!

Liked: The staff were all friendly and helpful. They have some events like Czech beer testing at the bar and the common room once in a while, which gives you the great opportunity to meet people! It's a little bit far away from the city center, but it shouldn't be a problem if you take the tram. Tickets are purchasable at the reception too.

Disliked: It took me forever to do the laundry. The washing machine didn't spin well, so the clothes were still all wet when I took them out and I had to use the dryer three times to dry them!

Liked: The place is unbelievable for the price! Not only the rooms are very good and clean, and there was a 'common' area with two bathrooms for three rooms, so it was almost like having a private bathroom... then the facilities, from the reception area with the computers with free internet and free wifi to the spectacular downstairs, where breakfast is served and an awesome kitchen and beautiful bar are located... all in all, a great place to stay in prague.

Disliked: Perhaps it's not the best location since you have to take a tram from the center of town to get to it...but if you're looking for a very good place and to pay as less as possible, definitely consider Sir Toby's.

Liked: Very Friendly Staff who did everything they could to help you. Very knowledgeable about the city and where to go and what to do.

Disliked: Location is a bit out of the way at first, but nothing that a tram ride doesn't cure.

Liked: The atmosphere was fantastic, and was as authentically Prague as it could be. I had incredible conversations with the other guests and hostel workers, and I found myself really excited to come back at night. The bar is also adorable, and better than a lot of place I went out to. I absolutely recommend this place.

Disliked: It was, unfortunately, kind of far away. I was only staying in Prague two days, and since I was pressed for time, it was a bit of a drag getting back and forth. Still, the area around Sir Toby's is a rare residential area, and a good escape from the swarms of other tourists. It was also a beautiful 45 minute walk along the river to the old town center, if you have the time/energy to hoof it. I liked the distant area of town, and the people at the front desk will kindly annotate a map for you and show you around, but after staying out all Saturday night, figuring out the czech public transport to get all the way back to the hostel was a little tiring.
