Liked: Breakfast is great, rooms are nice, kitchen, good security. Generally very happy with my stay.

Disliked: Bathrooms are usually a bit dirty, maybe need a mop for the water, location is not central but reasonable.

Liked: The hostel atmosphere is lively with one of the best common area/chillout lounge/bar I've seen in a hostel. It's easy to meet people here and definitely has a good vibe about it. There is also a great back patio and small balconies on each floor. All the usual facilities (toilets, showers, bedrooms) are kept in good shape and cleaned. The beds in particular are extremely comfortable (excellent pillows). The kitchen is really well equipped and there are plenty of shops nearby for shopping if your on a tight budget. Free internet was provided as well as common computer in the reception area. The speed as decent enough for all the usual tasks. I actually enjoyed the keycard/code system as I didn't have to lug around a bulky key anywhere and after checkout they are happy for you to keep your bags in the secure store, use the great common areas and the common toilets downstairs. The breakfast (additional cost) was really good with all the continental offerings in addition to make-it-yourself pancakes and eggs. It was kind of nice being 10-15minutes from the center. The area has its own shops, bars, clubs and neighbourhood which you can explore and get involved in. It is also a lot quieter than the center (for a good night's rest of city) and excellently connected with the trams so zipping in and out is very easy. Overall one of the better hostels I've stayed at.

Disliked: My room was overlooking the street and there was a reasonable amount of traffic noise pouring in from the street overnight but it didn't bother me particularly. The location, although still central, is a 15minute tram ride from the very centre of Prague. While this isn't an issue with most people some might want to be in the center of all the action. The reception got ridiculously busy in the afternoon and you'd often have to wait 15-30 minutes to get some advice but I understand this is almost beyond the control of staff who were always very helpful. It was a bit annoying that you had to pay for a towel (with a fee and deposit). The breakfast also needed an additional fee (as noted in the description) but it was definitely worth it.

Liked: The free BBQ they put on for dinner. The breakfast was amazing value for just over 4 euros and they have everything you would want. The kitchen is the best I've seen in a hostel.

Disliked: The pub crawl was average but they usually always are.

Liked: Everything excellent!!! If you are having doubts about the hostel being slightly out the way, erase those doubts, bite the bullet and book sir tobys- you will not regret it! the staff are really helpful and you can buy tram tickets etc from the front desk to avoid confusion. really cool basement bar (try the beckarovka with lemon....tastes like christmas!) and the beds are comfy comfy COMFY!

Disliked: slightly out the way and i wish the breakfast banquet was a little cheaper.

Liked: This place was amazing. Not in the tourist part of the city but the quality of the hostel makes it well worth it.

Liked: On a tour around more than ten cities, I only (with one exception) stayed in places with 80+% reviews on Hostelbookers. Sir Toby's was my favourite in pretty much every respect: Friendly, always helpful staff; A warm atmosphere throughout and a lively bar for meeting fellow travellers; Roomy, quiet dorms with solid, comfortable beds and secure storage boxes; Free computers with internet; A great breakfast. It's cheap, too. What more could you want?!

Disliked: I didn't experience any problems. I heard one person mention the shower being cold late at night - no idea if that's a regular problem, though.

Liked: i thought the atmosphere was really nice and cosy, it didnt have that sterile large hostel feel and was a great place to relax, the kitchen was the most well equipped i have had so far on my travels and the breakfast is amazing!!!

Disliked: the only thing i could complain about was one of the members of staff i found to be quite rude, a few other people staying at the same time commented as well. otherwise it's really annoying when people dont do their dishes and leave such a mess in the kitchen, this isnt any fault of the hostels though, just people being lazy

Liked: The staff are great, its a clean place and its vary safe. Its also not far from the action of Prague. They have a lovely kitchen with lots of cutlery and its very well organised. I absolutely would stay here again.

Disliked: The directions from the main station are not correct (can they relook these instructions). It says the station will be on your back when you exit, but if you take the trams following this direction, you go to the wrong direction. It should read 'exit the station, cross the tram line and face the metro station, then take the trams going to the right'. They should review this part of the instructions.

Liked: The ambience, cleanliness and the location in a residential part of town. Friendly staff and deco.

Disliked: The only problem was its distance from the town however its just 5 minutes away by tram.

Liked: Awesome atmosphere, nice pub downstairs. Very helpful staff and wifi is fast and free. A little ways outside the old town and everything but very well connected with trams nearby.

Disliked: Nada, zip, zilch... Fully recommended.

Liked: Very homely with helpful staff, the lounge and kitchen area made it really easy to meet and socialise with other travellers. There are leaflets for loads of things to do in Prague and other places that you may be moving on to in the reception area to ensure that you get the most out of your travels. While we were here sir toby's put on a free bbq for the guests which was great. The purchasable all you can eat breakfast was also brilliant. Well worth a visit!

Liked: Really well set-up hostel. All facilities and extra activities on offer well thought through with genuine attention to detail.

Disliked: Pretty positive about everything. Bathrooms weren't brilliant but still clean.

Liked: wow! The best hostel i've ever been too! It's exceptionally clean, staff clean your bathrooms everyday. I actually stayed for 4 nights instead of two. The lounge/bar downstairs are a great way of meeting other guests. The kitchen facilities are big and have all untensils to cook with!! Breakfast is well priced for what you get. Perfect Wi-fi reception in the rooms. A lovely young blonde lady went through everything to do in prague for me and the hostels facilities, she wasn't hesitant to assist anyone.

Disliked: Had a few rude male staff members patronising guests, such a shame as all other staff are so lovely and makes me feel welcomed.

Liked: Great hostel. A lot of character and helpful staff. The map they provided was really helpful. I will stay here again when I come back to Prague.

Disliked: There could have been a locker in the room to store backpacks. But there is a small cupboard to store small valuables.

Liked: A great building with friendly staff - a very comfortable place to stay, especially for the price. It was tempting to just sit around the hostel and not bother with sightseeing...

Disliked: The kitchen got a bit messy despite the expectation that guests would clean up after themselves - if it were cleaned more often perhaps guests would be more motivated to keep it clean too.

Liked: Loved it! The staff are very very friendly and helpful! They offer an amazing breakfast for just 5 euros. The rooms are lovely and have a very rustic feel. This hostel is just brilliant! We can't wait to go back, it has a very homey feel to it and a brilliant atmosphere. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Liked: The location was good; very near trams that will take you anywhere you want to go.

Disliked: The staff was so rude. The guy at the counter was arrogant and nasty to anyone who dared step up to the counter.

Liked: This hostel is amazing! The night we arrived they had a make yoiur own pancakes evening and on the following night there was a free BBQ. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is really great there too. One thing you really should do is try the breakfast it's really good value for money its about 4 euros and is there from 8 till 12 and all you can eat, really really good!!

Disliked: The only small niggle was the fact the lift didnt go up to our floor, but that wasnt a big problem
