Liked: He staff were so helpful and sweet!! There are a few tram lines that go directly from the corner of the street to the "city centre" and there are supermarkets minutes walk away!! We stayed in a "private double with ensuite" and it was honestly the best hostel we have stayed at in europe!! The room was so big, bed was comfortable and the ensuite was very fantastic! The reception is really helpful and there is a great guest kitchen down stairs!! It was just a really nice place to stay in such a beautiful city!!

Liked: Best hostel I have ever stayed in. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. Very cosy lounge area and bar. People sit around and chat at the end of the day, met people from all over the world, played charades, had great fun with all the young people. My husband and I are in our 60's and felt right at home. Breakfasts are fantastic!! Especially loved being able to cook my own pancakes or eggs. Stayed 3 nights and also ate the yummy soup and curry on offer at night.

Disliked: Nothing. Would use it again and definitely encourage others to use it.

Liked: Like a home with cool flatmates, fun games, amazing cookies (I'd pre-order, they sell out), pretty building and courtyard, well maintained, I booked another 15 days after checking in; Best decision ever!

Disliked: you just need to learn the area and the trains, it's outside the main center.

Liked: -sir tobys is goregous!! we stayed in a private twin and it was very tasteful and pretty. beds were super comfy. although a little annoying, we felt very secure as we had to pass through several cardlocked doors to get to our room. there was one bathroom for ours and another private room - clean and fine. -unfortunately we only got to indulge in breakfast once. there is a charge for it, but its minimal for what you get. best hostel breakfast ive EVER seen. cereal, granola, yoghourt, fruit, veggies, bread, cheese, meat, hot drinks, and make your own eggs and pancakes! fill up! there is a spacious kitchen, outdoor back patio and at night there is a bar also. -the staff at this hostel were the best we'd ever dealt with. absolutely friendly, helpful, competent and...again nice! don't underestimate this. ive stayed at tons of hostels and it makes all the difference. they give you a cute free map (with some phrases, dining hints ect - highly recommend Lehká hlava vegetarian restaurant, indicated on map - amazing!!) and you can also buy tram tickets right at the desk. -overall gorgeous hostel and awesome staff.

Disliked: -to get to the city centre you need to take a tram - but the stop is very close to the hostel. wasnt ever an issue for us - not sure how late they run tho, we never took one past 1am. -only issue about our room was that the bathroom door closed with an oldfashioned skeleton key lock of some kind. it wasnt working well and it took me about five minutes to break out one day after id locked it - medium terrifying! we just stopped locking the door after that since we shared with only one other room and never saw anyone there. we forgot to report the lock to the desk however, and from my impression of the hostel i believe it would have been dealt with if we had.

Liked: I adore this hostel, I would come back here anytime. The pictures they post don't do this place justice. The dorm rooms are each different and clean, amazing breakfast (pancakes and eggs!) and the basement is the greatest hangout space I've ever seen in a hostel.

Disliked: Location maybe. Trams are really close by though, it's just hard to convince yourself to leave the cozy basement bar to go out drinking.

Liked: Great clean rooms without bunk beds, full fresh breakfast (good price as well), cool bar in the basement with cheap beer, public transport just around the corner.

Disliked: Most of the staff was really friendly and helpful, but the one who offered a city tour was really grumpy.

Liked: This hostel offered so many touches to make it feel like home. I felt completely safe and welcomed here. Character around every corner. So lovely.

Disliked: The location, but even still, it was right next to the tram line, so it really isn't inconvenient at all.

Liked: Great hostel, good atmosphere. Staff are friendly and helpful, kitchen for cooking, breakfast was good, and we had a free bbq. Would definitely recommend.

Disliked: It takes ages to walk into the city centre. However, there are 24hr trams that take 10 minutes. Wouldn't recommend the pub crawl, there are better ones in the city.

Liked: Pretty much everything. Staff were amazingly helpful, and with a great taste in music and awesome tips for bars & stuff. The vibe was best for meeting people in the basement lounge, and breakfast (not included) was great value. Sir Toby was a gentleman, too.

Disliked: Location is definitely not top for tourism, but easily reachable by tram anyway. I'd recomend them organizing or promoting more activities, like walking tours, that gather people round day-long.

Liked: Great atmosphere in an older building outside of the city centre. They have something going on all the time to get people interacting. Free BBQ on Saturdays is great. Rooms were great, everything is secure and I rarely worried about my stuff. Highlight of the building is their basement with hangout area, kitchen, and bar. Amazing vibe down there. Also minutes from 2 tram lines that take you to all the major tourist locations in Prague.

Disliked: While pretty clean, bathrooms occasionally had pretty wet floors, but that's more of a user issue (dry off more in the shower stall please.) My room faced the street. With windows open, it can be somewhat loud from cars passing by, but not unbearable.

Liked: The staff were so friendly and helpful, really couldn't have asked for better. They also helped us to get cheaper public transport by "lending" a monthly ticket off them! Such a great idea. They were more than happy to help with directions. Rooms were spacious enough and beds comfy.

Liked: The girls dorms (5 to 6) were the best. Common room and kitchen was a pretty neat place to hang out. I like the computers they provided for those without wi-fi. No curfew. Ability to purchase tram and public transportation. Staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the city. Also, since it is sort of located a little bit away from the main center, recommended restaurants have really good local food at local prices.

Disliked: Having to take a tram into the main tourist center. Not that it is difficult because the tram stop is just around the corner. Just that if you prefer to walk everywhere to your destination, it's still a bit of a walk.

Liked: Helpful staff that give a lot of advice on what to do, where to go, how to get there, etc. The bathrooms were fairly clean. The lobby, the communal area in the basement, the kitchen, and the bar down there are all very nice. They really promote securing your valuables.

Disliked: The wooden boxes under the bed and on the wall next to the bed are both kind of dangerous, or maybe it was just me.
