Even though we were supposed to call if we were running late, when we were unable to the staff was understanding and came back to check us in. We had our own 6 bed dorm for 3 of us traveling together which was really nice.

The hostel is amazing. The dinners they make are delicious, the rooms are clean and spacious, and it is a really social place. The staff are really helpful.

Amazing hostel, the best I've stayed at. Ultra friendly and helpful staff. Just a great atmosphere and quality feel with Immaculate dorms and bathrooms. Ther bar downstair was also a bonus. Internet and breakfast were a little pricey, but the beds are so cheap you can't fault it. A little out of the centre (maybe 8 tram stops - 18czk for a ticket) but there's loads of clubs, bars, resturants and shops in the area that are cheap too, since they cater for locals, not tourists as in the centre. I would definately stay there again.

Even though it was a little further out of town, it was very easy to catch a tram into the town centre. All but one of the staff were extremely helpful. I liked the booklet they gave me when I checked in that mentioned things to do, how to get around etc. The facilities are also great - a laundry service (a little exy but my clothes came out smelling so good!), a pub downstairs that was a great place to hang out and meet people and also serves a great buffet breakfast every morning til 12pm, and a pretty well equipped kitchen with tables to sit at. There was also a lift to get my pack up 3 levels! and little balconies near the lift on some levels and a nice courtyard out the back (unfortunately it was a bit cold when I stayed there to use it though). There are heaps of computers for internet use but you do have to pay, its pretty cheap though.

Its location is the hidden beauty. It is relatively quite far away from the hustle and noise of the city centre. Having said that, the hostel is still very easily accessible to almost all of the attractions and beauties of the city

Beautiful hostel, the place was full of character and invited people to easily chat with others. For someone traveling on their own, this is a must with a hostel, and this place delivered and more. Yeah, you had to catch a tram in, and the surrounding buildings were the communist prefab, but a quick and cheap tram ride is nothing in comparison to the brilliantness of this hostel. If it had been closer to the city, I don't think it would have the same charm, or encouragement for people to hang for a bit in the bar and chat, before and after a night out. And comfy beds.

Not being in Prague center is both a blessing a curse. You get to go to restaurants and bars that local residents go to and won't get ripped off. On the other hand you will likely find yourself relying on the public transport to get to and from the hostel. If I return to Prague I would stay at Sir Toby's again.
