Liked: It is super near to the bus stop (Praha, ÚAN Florenc), not really far from center, just 20 min walk. Staff at reception is nice and there is free tea and coffee for 24 hour. Hair dryer can be borrowed and the inside of the hostel is pretty.

Disliked: You have to climb the stairs before getting to the reception, so people with heavy luggage should bear this in mind. The toilet and bathroom had a sewage smell.

Liked: Very nice outdoor patio. Cool non-tourist bars around the corner. Friendly, competent and relaxed staff.

Disliked: Maybe the breakfeast isn´t that great. But in regard to the price it´s okay.

Liked: Situated in Zizkov area in easy 10 minute walking distance of the metro and international bus station. Plenty of non tourist and cheaper bars and eating places to frequent. Very friendly place to come and go as one pleases. In good weather the outside BBQ area and garden is great. There is a very handy 24 hour shop directly opposite the hostel entrance on Husitzka Street.

Disliked: Long climb of steps to the entrance from the street ?

Liked: real cruisy, helpful staff, bus stop right outside the front, so location is not so bad. Pretty hard to find at first coming from the train station though. free breakfast is always good

Liked: Great atmosphere, a lot of space to hang around inside and outside, located close to a lot of great bars - I can highly recommend it.

Disliked: It's nice if the staff washed your dishes but not if it's early in the morning right in front of your room

Liked: Chilled out and relaxed. Met awesome people here, great way to meet people, many of them from Europeans (rather than US/AUS/Cananda). Bus stop outside hostel takes you straight into town.

Disliked: Nothing. Tough to find first up. The pub crawl people a little pushy at times.

Liked: During my stay at Elf Hostel I particularly enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the fact that there were always so many nice people to talk to.I also liked the general vibe of the hostel,which was really fun.Finally,the bathroom and toilette were always clean and the (free) breakfast was really helpful,even though there was not much variety.

Disliked: The only drawback that comes to mind is that the hostel is not placed near the old town center,which is about 15 minutes away on foot.However,it is pretty close to the main train station and there is a bus line to the center with a stop right next to the hostel.

Liked: Excellent hostel.good atmosphere.

Disliked: Location, very difficultl to get around even having a bus stop in front of it....it takes a while to get city center....and very difficult to go walk from train or bus station......even worst when coming back from parties...

Liked: Hostel Elf was a great place to meet other travelers. The rooms were all clean, and having a locker available to you was great (just make sure to bring your own lock!) They also served breakfast every day, which is a plus if you're on a budget, and had a free bbq on two of the nights I was there, though I think they offer it three times a week.

Disliked: It is a bit of a walk from the main parts of Prague, including the train station, so just be ready to walk. Also there is no lift, and about 100 stairs up to the property.

Liked: The staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is very rich and you can take as much as you wish. The BBQ is nice because it's free and the atmosphere is good for meeting new people. They offer hair dryers and iron machines.

Disliked: Doing the laundry costs a bit too much. The lockers in the room were wooden closets that were a bit beaten up so if you weren't carefull your stuff could fall into the lower locker.

Liked: I loved hostel ELF, most of the staff were friendly and the decor is really cool. The free bbq was a nice surprise and breakfast was great, this is a great hostel to socialise and meet other travellers, also the free internet was very helpful!

Disliked: a bit hard to find, but near to the centre when you know your way!

Liked: Really fun and crazy atmosphere- free bbq on Thursday nights. Large hostel with lots of shared areas to meet people. Really cheap beer. Staff are really friendly!

Disliked: A little far away from the centre but a pleasant enough 20min stroll. The wifi did not work in the rooms or the lounge area and had a very slow signal anywhere else.

Liked: Atmosphere. Free computers. Great common room and kitchen for meeting people. Cheap beer. When you pay for laundry they do it all for you. Free tea (real British tea not fruit stuff and they have milk!) and coffee.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: there was a very friendly atmosphere in the hostel with a great outside area. the rooms and kit hen area was a decent size and kept very clean.

Disliked: the staff didn't show me round which ment I had to ask other travellers, this was fine as everyone was very friendly but it would have been nice to been shown where things like the kitchen and computers were.

Liked: The atmosphere and charm were great! I met amazing people while staying there and they definitely made Prague one of a kind for me! I would recommend this hostel time after time!

Disliked: The internet wasn't that great, but there's so much fun stuff going on, it's really not that big of a deal.

Liked: I loved the atmosphere and the people who stayed there! If you are young and like to party and have fun - this is the best place! And if you are traveling alone you will meet a lot of new friends.

Disliked: The street outside has very dense traffic, but not all the rooms face the street
