Liked: We stayed in a 2 bed dorm which had a big balcony with a beautiful view of a gorgeous old building with towers. The room was clean, comfortable size and had a wardrobe, seats, table. Could also borrow a clothes horse to dry our clothes. There were two computers with free net and a kitchen. Very comfortable with an excellent location.

Disliked: When we arrived at our room the door handle fell off, they tried to fix it a few times which was annoying, but not a major drama. We had to share our bathroom with another dorm of 6 people so sometimes took a while to get into it.

Liked: A lovely place to stay in an excellent location - the city centre and public transport is at your doorstep. Staff were always polite and friendly and we extended our stay without any hassle. We stayed in a clean apartment with more beds than we needed, a little kitchen and private bathroom. All facilities were great except wireless internet access did not reach the top floor room and the showers were not the best with fluctuations between hot and cold water making the experience a little unpleasant. All in all though, I would recommend this hostel.

Disliked: No access to wireless internet from top floor apartment. Inconsistent hot water for the showers - steaming hot to very cold

Liked: Good, large kitchen/common room. Staff were very polite and helpful.

Disliked: Only one bathroom between far too many people and the door to our room didn't always lock properly.

Liked: Good location and helpful staff. No longer 24 hour reception but with advance notice arranged for someone to be on duty and carry bag upstairs. Have recently updated security and have a change of code to access both dormitory and common room, each day. Provide tea and coffee, cooking facilities, fridge etc. Baggage storage facility and lift to access in basement. Would recommend.

Disliked: As I arrived late at night and had to travel by taxi, it was somewhat disconcerting to reach the stated address and not to be able to identify any obvious signage. The driver did locate a small sign in the doorway and once the main door was opened, no problems.

Liked: Good location, clean and the staff was very nice. but if you want to know people and party this is not the place cuz there is not a "fun reunion people salon".

Liked: Close to old town and sights, market, shops, transport. CLEAN. Quiet.

Disliked: Dark hallway entrance at night before getting to the inner gate. Need a light there. Staff were kind of helpful. I asked where the nearest Tesco or food market was and the gentleman at the desk circled the area on the map, didn't really give me a specific path to follow so it took me longer to find it. I had no idea the Alberts was actually in the underground. Depends on the clientele but I didn't really meet as many people at this hostel as I had at others. No planned group activities/bar crawls/walking tours...organised by the hostel for guests to mingle, which is what I enjoy on the road. I've come from other hostel experiences with loads of new friends and contacts but none here. I went out at night to a few places listed on the map given to me and they were closed.

Liked: The rooms were very clean and nice. The furniture really is pretty new, so it is true what they say in the internet :) We had a private appartement with a fully equiped kitchen and our own bathroom, which was very comfortable!The staff was very friendly and helpful!The location of the hostel is just perfect! In about 5 min you can walk to Wenzlas Square and in about 10-15min you reach the Old Town Square.

Disliked: The parking situation there is really difficult, so I would recommend not to go there by car. The only possiblity we had was to park our car at the parking meters at the main train station where there maximum stay was 6h so we had to change the parking lot at least once a day... Fortunately it is just about a 5minutes walk from the hostel to the train station!

Liked: The hostel was located in a quiet neighbourhood so we could get some good night sleep. The staff were quite helpful in terms of recommendations for places to exchange money after hours (when banks are closed). We were splendidly surprised that there where no bunk beds and the place is quite cozy and very spacious.

Disliked: There was only 1 washroom (showers and toilet) for all of us on the top floor so we had to line up and wait for our turn. We had hot water run out on us so do not open the showers too hot, if there is any hot water left. We were told that there was WIFI in our bedrooms but it only worked in the lounge area.

Liked: The location was excellent and I like the style of having small apartments instead of a usual dorm. The rooms were spacious and encouraged everyone to socialise with each other.

Disliked: Unfortunately my mattress was riddled with bed bugs and I got eaten alive.

Liked: The rooms were clean. Location was good.

Disliked: Staff confused us many a time with arrangements. Didnt have a locker in the room and so had to leave bags in the basement room where they got covered in white dust. The lift door was left open, even though the receptionist was looking at it?!, meaning we couldnt get out when we were in a rush for the airport. Was very quiet at night and provided absolutely no social.

Liked: Great Location. Kitchen is useful.

Disliked: They overbooked my bed and when i went to the front desk and the guy at the front desk refused to help me. It took me going and getting everyone in the room with him to prove that there were 7 people and only 6 beds. It was not a good way to start my stay. Also, there are no lockers in the rooms to keep you stuff. There is only one bathroom in each apartment. with one show and one toilet. Also the only mirror in the whole hostel was in the bathroom.

Liked: This hostel is really small and relatively quiet. There aren't lockers in some of the rooms, but it still feels really safe.

Disliked: One staff member was quite rude and refused to admit fault when he booked too many people in one room . There were some ants in the kitchen. There weren't enough bathrooms and there should be mirrors in the rooms so we don't have to take up time in the bathroom getting ready.
