Liked: ana was nice!

Disliked: the whole building is in major need of a facelift, there was loud music playing until after 1am making it hard to have an early night. it was 10 euros for laundry which we thought was overpriced. one of the receptionists (long brown hair, fringe) just stared at everyone and was rude.

Liked: basement bar is a really cool place to hang out and meet people. the staff are great, very relaxed and happy atmosphere

Disliked: the dorms and bathrooms could use a good clean and possibly a revamp. linen was very old.

Liked: wifi and computers available free of charge, price was moderate but then again this hostel isn't in the city center and you get what you pay for, might be fun if you're a pot smoker

Disliked: dirty, poorly maintained building, you have to walk two long blocks with your luggage up a STEEP hill to get there, no lift and I was on the 5th floor, smoking permitted in the bar which doubled as the reception area, place wreaked of cigarette smoke and weed all the time, staff were rude at times. HORRIBLE hostel. I wouldn't stay here again if it were free

Liked: A great living room where there is always life and were you can meet people easily around drinks.

Disliked: Maybe too many steps to end to the big dormitory, but i lost a couple of pounds so i'm delighted.

Liked: The character of the place is quirky great for travellers who are comfortable with the non-polished, but warmly open atmosphere and vibe. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Some rooms have an excellent vista of the ctiy. Mine was such a room - aptly named "Bestview"

Disliked: No dislikes. If you don't like smokey then the main reception area at night through the morning is not your place.

Liked: Very sociable bar downstairs with lovely staff and fun atomosphere. Good place to get to know fellow travellers, very laid back hostel!

Disliked: It was up a very steep hill so it was quite difficult to manage with our backpacks, also our room was up lots of flights of stairs and there was no lift. Beds were quite uncomfortable and the kitchen facilities werent great.

Liked: Really lively and good place to meet people. Staff are friendly and the rooms were really comfortable in the six person dorm.

Liked: Everything (except the poor kitchen)! The hostel seems to attract a good crowd and the rooms made it easy to be sociable. Really cool area and the bar is lively and popular with those not staying at the hostel too. Had things like live music one night. Even though you have to pay for breakfast it was only 50 crowns (about 2 euros) and you could eat all morning so it was basically lunch too. Great links into the town centre by tram but also walkable. Really secure as well, lockers in the rooms, dorms lock, staircase from bar locked and they ask you to hand your keys in when you go out. Also they have a safety deposit behind the bar which is free. Great park/beer garden nearby too!

Disliked: Kitchen had minimal equipment. Coffee at breakfast varied dramatically in quality!

Liked: This is a very fun hostel. If you are looking for a good place to socialize and meet new people go to this hostel. All of the staff are great and it is a great value for the price. It seems like this hostel is a business ran because the people enjoy it not because they want to make a bunch of money.

Disliked: Only one male and one female shower for the big dorm, but it was never really a problem for me I just took my showers in the afternoons. Also if you have a hard time climbing stairs don't stay in the big dorm. It is up ten flights.

Liked: Staff were very helpful and welcoming, very good at reccomendations and giving directions. Rooms were very nice and comfortable and lovely building. Also the bar is a real asset. It's easy to get the underground to the city centre but its also not too far to walk. The location is very nice with a couple of restaurants/bars near by and a few mini supermarkets.

Disliked: Only having 2 showers and 2 toilets (that I found) on the floor was a little restricting. Could do with a lift but that might damage the character of the building. Also sound echoed around the corridors, but again this is the nature of the building,

Liked: The hostel has a great atmosphere and good prices.

Disliked: The big dorm was noisy, but it's normal when there are so many beds.

Liked: People and place were great. amazing hostel for the price! everthings pretty basic, but its what you should expect. this is perfect if you want somewhere to sleep, drink and meet people without any ridiculous frills! and to all those people complaining about the hill to the hostel and stairs... they are the types who probably need a good workout! haha live music with the tinapples..much love to you guys

Disliked: bit of a mixup as i was supposed to stay with friends who arrived before me and had a separate booking but was easily sorted with no fuss. they really do all they can to make things as comfy as possible!

Liked: EXCELLENT hostel for young people, plenty of chilled guys enjoying life here. Everyone speaks English, lots of fun, Highly recommend.

Disliked: Could be closer to the city centre, but it's not a big issue

Liked: A good atmosphere, very relaxed place to be despite the "party" reputation.

Disliked: Unfortunately a member of our group had their camera stolen from their room, there also appeared to be a further attempt to break into the room whilst we were staying there. The showers were pretty poor too.

Liked: I loved the old building, I loved the music playing and the bar. I also loved the decor in general. The location was ok, it was a few blocks away from a metro station so it wasn't hard to get into the city center, and the area itself had bars, restaurants, and a bit of shopping.

Disliked: A bit of a walk to the subway, and it didn't have many outlets since it was an older building.

Liked: Great place with great people!

Disliked: We were on the top floor so we could not hear any noise from the first floor bar, but not sure how that could be for people staying directly above it.....just a thought for consideration. This is a great place for young people looking for a hostel with character and a fun atmosphere. Hostelbookers charges an extra fee so FYI.

Liked: not expensive, friendly staff, meant to be near the best partying spots at themoment, but didn't have time to find out for myself.

Disliked: Quite a hike from the towncentre, walking therefrom the train station (or tram station) was awfull, the hill is so steep! Slept next to a guy who snored and farted, doesn't help the overall opinion. tiny shower and sink, bedrooms are a bit cramped.
