Liked: Clean, well-kept rooms that were serviced daily, within walking distance from town centre and local activities, friendly, helpful staff 24/7.

Disliked: No kitchenette & refridgerator in our dorm room - advertised in every room. Not a problem because there are some great & cheap restaurants around but glad we didn't bring anything along.

Disliked: It is a little far from train station. Only bad point if you have lots of luggage

Liked: It was more a hotel, private bathroom etc. Very clean and tidy and excellent value for money.

Disliked: Bit of a walk from the centre and a bit hard to find but nothing major.

Liked: The hostel was overbooked so they upgraded us to their joint hotel. It was great!

Disliked: Couldnt find it - no sign out the front, just a big sign for their joint hotel.

Liked: Everything necessary was available, location wasn't bad (difficult to find though), room was clean

Disliked: Atmosphere wasn't the greatest, in a full room the lack of bathrooms (1 shower, 1 toilet) could be a problem (though while I was there with one other guest, it wasn't) Value for money not as good as in bigger cities

Disliked: bed ( I was bited by someting 13 times) no kichen

Liked: The location is perfect: only about 2-3 blocks from the center. A large supermarket is close by. Besides,The staff is very nice, answering all my questions willingly.

Disliked: The room given to us is on the 3rd floor, too high for old women with bad legs. Further, it's not very clean and the furniture is pretty old (i.e the lockers are in bad shape with no keys) with only one chair for the 2 of us, considering the fact that this is usually an 8-bedded dorm converted into a double.

Liked: Close to city. Bathroom devided in to toilet and shower.

Disliked: currtens dont really block the sunlight at all. room had a moödy smell. cant close the door from out side without key.

Liked: It is very clean accomodation. The rooms are big and really in good conditions! The location is very good: just 5 minutes from Republiky namesti, the main square of the center of Plzen!

Disliked: there are not situation to meet other guests (there are not common areas).

Liked: It felt more like a hotel then a hostel but it was a nice change and the breakfast was by far one of the best we have had so far.

Liked: Spotlessly clean, a hotel rather than a hostel

Disliked: nothing, great value. Except a little confusing to find as they are signposted as Hotel Ranouda, there is only a tiny plaque by the door saying they are also the hostel.

Liked: Good location, nice people and staff. A good place to stay in Plzen.

Liked: Nice and cosy feel to the hostel

Disliked: difficult to find, but it was always going to be hard, Plzen was under 15cm of snow.

Liked: The hostel was overbooked, so we were relocated to their partner 4-star hotel next door. Staff was extremely nice in both places and spoke good English and German. The location is perfect, very near the city center and with good parking opportunities. You can park in front of the hostel for free or in a guarded parking lot nearby for a small fee (something like 100 Kc). Room was great.
