Liked: For the price is nice place. the lady in the reception was really nice (but didn't speak a lot of english). Our bedroom was really cosy with sophas and a table. Internet was good even in the bedroom.

Disliked: The heat didn't work very well and it's quite far from the train station (almost 10 min by car) and not the 20 min that they say.

Liked: I love the design of the hostel. It's a cozy place that make you feel yourself home. The pantry there is clean and useful, with a 5min walkway mini market, we made a nice breakfast there. It's not very close to the city centre, but come on, who is going to rush in cesky krumlov? And since the town is very small, and consider it as a touristic town. The price of this hostel is cheap!

Disliked: Umm not enough warmth and staff only know very few English, but super friendly:)

Liked: The price of the room and free internet.

Disliked: Shower was not easy to use, didn't always get the temperature you wanted. Spiders in the bathroom and corridors, I don't recommend this place if you're really afraid of them. Staff spoke English only just enough.

Liked: Kind staffs and careful.

Disliked: Far away from the bus stop and tour sites. So could not be easy to get there for the first night with carriers. The stairs on the map were not clear to find.

Liked: Short walk from the beautiful town centre. The staff were very kind and helpful. Would recommend this hostel for a quiet two night stay as there are plenty of water sports to enjoy in this scenic town.

Disliked: This hostel was on the quiet side and we did not have long enough in Cesky Krumlov.

Liked: very nice view of the river side. The staffs are super friendly more likely to a family hostel.

Disliked: Shower is very unstable. Extremely cold and hot at the same time. Otherwise, everything is fine.

Liked: - The staff is friendly, she is a very kind person - There is lockers in the room and a kitchen

Disliked: - I don't know if there is two building related to this hostel, but ours was not really clean - The shower/bath is way too small, I had to be in fetal position to take mine and there is no shower curtain - The staff barely speaks english (but that was more funny than irritable)

Liked: This was a cheap hostel which took our booking at the last minute.

Disliked: The owners were not about at their check-in time, we wait for 50 minutes before they were around. All that waited for us was their barking dog. The hostel was kinda old, the kitchen was a bit grotty and the internet/computer only worked once out of 8 attempts to get it going. The toilet in our room had no lock and there were a lot of passive-aggressive signs written in English around the place asking people to behave like humans etc. As for cleanliness in the rooms- we got a towel on the end of our bed free of charge,but I wouldn't have liked to have been in the hostel for an extended period of time- the showers only had curtains so privacy was issue. The first impression of our room wasn't good: there were flies circling the ceiling. Nice.

Liked: I really loved most things about this 'property'. Now, as a person looking at reviews I am always weary of people who give such great reviews, but personally, I really liked Cesky Krumlov and this hostel. The woman who owns it is really lovely and helpful and as soon as we arrived she helped us bring our things up stairs and 'check in' she then gave us a map, showed us where the atm's were and where the cheapest supermarket and pubs were. The location was great because it is not right in town so you can get away from the bustle of tourists (although there aren't many compared to big cities). The hostel itself is like a beach house in Australia. It is wooden and has a great atmosphere, and the kitchen has most things that you would need for cooking. Overall, I had a really relaxing and memorable time here. THANKS

Disliked: Hmm. There not being any pepper to put on my omelet? Haha That is the worst dislike ever but, apart from that I was pretty happy. This place was starting to feel like home!

Liked: Some of them are dirty, but that's customers' problems.

Disliked: There are some fomer customer use water boiler to boil milk. it's disgusting but I won't blame host. That's customer's problems.

Liked: Good only for young, adventurous backpackers.

Disliked: I will not recommend this during winter as they use an old heating device to make fire/heat. It's noisy and emits smoky condensed air in the room. Floorings and carpets are not well kept. Beds are smelly and dusty as well. The room has broken window.

Liked: nice location, the garden must be nice when the weather is good. lots of information.

Disliked: the floor in our room and the wardrobe were quite unclean. the whole house was rather cold and the showers were quite "adventurous".

Liked: The hostel is a house, indeed with a garden, so this creates a nice atmosphere. Prices are also quite low, but this applies to the czech republic as a whole.

Disliked: -location -- far from city and civilisation -rooms - quite basic and dirty -beds - awfully uncomfortable with hard matress -facilities - small and dirty toilets -staff - not knowing English and never present at the reception desk

Liked: Staff were friendly and lots of fun activities were on offer including rafting. Having a kitchen was a good bonus.

Disliked: Could be cleaner, despite it being very tidy.

Liked: It had a kitchen, was relatively close to the town.

Disliked: The showers were shared between male and female and only a plastic flimsy curtain to protect your modesty. No where to put things in the bathroom or hang a towel and there was no hot water the first day I tried to shower. We booked a private twin room and the first night we were in a room through which people had to walk to access their dorm room so we had no privacy and the second night we were put in a four bed dorm with two girls so not a private double at all! Didn't bother to complain as the owner does not speak English so no point. It was cheap though so book a dorm and it's not an issue!
