The first hostel in Cesky Krumlov, built by Aussie travellers-turned-brickies, Hostel Krumlov House is a quiet, family-run hostel that provides more than just the comforts of home. Quiet corners to read and play chess, a large kitchen filled with spices, tea, coffee, oil, and English cookbooks for inspiring cook-fests. We also provide you with an excellent book exchange, and Czech films on DVD (with English subtitles). Not to mention free wifi internet access (if you bring along your own laptop or wireless device).
Upon arrival, you'll receive our world-renown town map, which will clue you in to all the great places to eat, drink and be merry. We're happy to book you an hour on horseback in the woods, a massage with one of the town's best masseuses, a boat to float in the river, and we're happy to book you beds onward to your next port of call.
At Hostel Krumlov House, you'll find a friendly English- and Czech-speaking staff, and your beds freshly made with clean linens. We are the only hostel in town that is 100[%] non-smoking.
Why the minimum two-night stay? Cesky Krumlov needs to be savoured, not sampled. Believe us when we say that even two nights isn't enough. Krumlov House guests stay an average of 4 nights, and more than 20 percent are repeat customers...
We are child-friendly, but children under 18 are not allowed in the mixed dorm rooms for obvious reasons.
Reception closes at 8pm!
Staying at Krumlov House is like staying at a friend's. With that in mind, please plan to arrive before 8pm. If you are going to be late, please call, text, or email us or risk losing your booking.
