Liked: nice place to stay:) there are free Internet and computer and great kichen!

Disliked: a little far from maim bus stop and train station, but it's a amsll town that it doesn't matter:)

Liked: Very clean. well equipped kitchen. warm room! nice bed!

Disliked: It's a pity that I am the only guest that night~~ The shower is kind of weird! Water not warm enough~~

Liked: good size kitchen, quite close to old town, although not nicely situated in the river bend like some other hostel there (forget the name though). clean, computers available for as long as you like with internet, and staff will print you tickets if needed. staff very helpful in general.

Disliked: some random staying there as a friend of the owner who was a bit creepy. bad directions on the site for how to get there - i arrived at the bus station suggested in the city but its not clear how to find it from website directions or from pamphelet distributed at other hosels, since the map on the pamphlet doesn't label street names. if you get of at this central (but not main) bus stop, go up the first bridge which goes over the road the bus drove on, and is about 20m from the bus stop in the direction away from the castle tower you can see. once you're on this bridge, you'll go through an old looking medieval arch/gate and the hostel is in the first street on your left. you will see opposite this street on your right a cafe called cafe /restaurant 99.

Liked: Great location and very clean. There's a great DVD collection and a DVD player if you want to relax on the communal couch. The Restaurant 99 and Café 99 are convenient and inexpensive for hostel guests and other tourists. If you open the windows you can listen to the Vltava River right outside.

Disliked: The staff smoke in the hostel and it the smell seeps into the whole building. If you are allergic to smoke or don't want to inhale second-hand smoke at your accommodations then do not stay here. During the two days that I was there, the staff cleaned the main restroom during the hours of 9am-11am . So, while you and 5 other people need to shower, you are send to the one-stall toilet and shower upstairs...

Liked: The building has character and has beautiful river views.

Disliked: They allow smoking in most areas inside (not in the bedrooms) but the kitchen was too smoky for me to use. If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, I would not stay here.

Liked: Excellent location, beautiful hostel (like staying in a tree house), great kitchen and bathrooms, wonderful staff, fantastic restaurant and cafe next door, and offers a BRILLIANT rafting pub crawl! Don't stay anywhere else in Cesky Krumlov :)

Disliked: Its a base for bus a bout tours so if you dont care for tour groups (as I dont) dont stay here as it is full of them. Apart from that its a decent hostel

Liked: the staff were so great!! so friendly and helpful!

Disliked: the busloads of busabout ppl!! thez were drunken and disrespectful to the staff and other ppl staying at the hostel.

Liked: Brennan, the receptionist is mellow, friendly, cheerful, tireless, even more helpful than expected.

Disliked: No hammocks.

Liked: Really cool building!! Great location and the restaurant is really good value! Really clean but only one bathroom for an entire floor of about 40 people; didn't cause that much of a problem though. Also really quiet!!

Disliked: No free breakfast...

Liked: This hostel is very easy to find, as it is right in front of you as you walk into the old city. The beds were colorful and comfortable, and I got a room with only two other people in it.
