Liked: Nothing because they gave our room away.

Disliked: They double booked our room and when we arrived they sent us to another place.

Liked: Super casa. Marialena is een vriendelijke meid. Het huis ziet er erg leuk uit met een ruime kamer en aan de voorkant een veranda met schommelstoelen en achter een tuin. De locatie is erg leuk. In deze straat staan alle mannetjes met paard en wagen (of kruiwagen) fruit te verkopen dus er is lekker veel bedrijvigheid. Het historisch centrum ligt op 10 minuten lopen en naar het strand rijd je een kwartier. Wij hebben een super tijd gehad

Liked: The patio, inside the house is peaceful and the rooms are quiet. The beds are comfortable and there is hot water. The owner can arrange taxi for your visits (playa or natural parks).

Disliked: The house is not in the historical center but at 5-10 min walking distance.

Liked: This Hostal is located right in the heart of Trinidad and is safe and secure. The hosts are wonderful and the meals were excellent. They were also very helpful when it came to arranging a day trip to the mountains. The Casa itself is very nice and clean. The center courtyard has a hanging garden which provides a wonderful place to relax in and have our meals.

Disliked: nothing- it was great

Liked: The casa is located in a very lively street very nearby the center of the city. The hostes was extremely kind and helpfull. The house has a great patio and the hosts are working on a roof terrace.

Liked: The best Hostel we have visited during our various trips to Cuba! Clean, comfortable and very nice rooms in a quiet part of Trinidad, without being far from anything. The host Alberto and his daughter are super friendly, always prepared to help and find solutions if there are any problems and make you feel at home. Alberto is also a fantastic cook, we had all our meals in the Hostel which gave us time to enjoy the lovely patio, where we also had very nice and interesting conversations with our hosts about life and culture in Cuba. The house have good security and it is feels safe to leave your things behind. An extra plus is that Alberto´s daughter is a nurse, which turned out very handy when I turned ill.

Liked: We spent four nights in Rocaverde Hostel and it's really worth recommending. Marielena is a charming and very helpful person. She always finds time to talk to her guests and give them advices whenever they need it. ...We loved the interior patio!

Liked: Beautiful terrace, located 5min walk from city center.

Disliked: The owners apparently know marketing, resulting in godly reviews. The place is pretty basic, during our 18-day trip around Cuba we had better and worse places and better and worse food. Don't expect heaven despite the reviews, although the place is very pleasant.

Liked: warm welcome from a very nice family. Beautiful and large rooms. Nice patio where we had an excellent dinner. Just a 5-minutes walk to the city center of beautiful Trinidad. The situation is good.

Liked: Zentral gelegene grüne Ruheoase mit einfachen, sauberen Zimmern. Maria Elena und ihr Vater Alberto führen diese "casa particular" mit viel Liebe und sind stehts hilfsbereit. Zufahrt und sicheres Parken sind vor dem Haus möglich. {GPS: Latitude 21.801668 N; Longitude: 79.988725 W}. Ein junges Paar aus Graz/Austria im März 2011.

Liked: Very nice people, lovely decorations and excellent food! Could have stayed there forever, Alberto and his daughter Marielena and her little daughter were the most welcoming hosts we had in Cuba. They were fantastic, served delicious breakfasts and suppers when we stayed in and were very helpful and resourceful. The courtyard was beautiful and we got the dinner under stars. 100% recommended.

Liked: Best bet during our trip through cuba. Really stylish and sharming place. The family is very helpful, friendly and did the best food we had in cuba. A must go in Trinidad!

Liked: This is a lovely little place in Trinidad - everywhere is close at hand even if this is a little further out - it really doesn't matter. The family are wonderful and friendly - Alberto pops up with wonderful food (best tortilla I have had.. must be the spices) and the room is everything I needed it to be. Nice patio space to watch the sun go down over dinner. Perfect.
