This house, built at the end of 18th century, belonged to the Sotolongo family. A few meters away from San Francisco Convent and the Weapons Square, near the oldest areas of the city.

The old house of the Spanish Colonial councilman Sotolongo, originally built as a private house at the end of the 18th century, today houses the Hotel Valencia.

Located on a privileged corner, just 200 meters from The Plaza De Armas, (the place where Valencians traditionally worshipped) and the San Francisco Convent, this hotel is ideally located for exploring Old Havana.

Its carved red roof, balustrades and iron work of its interior courtyard give plenty of old world charm and local character to this hotel. The beautiful interior is light and fresh and overflowing with exuberant vegetation. It's an oasis in the centre of this Historic area.
