Liked: The staff in this casa is really friendly and helpful. The owner can advise you on your trip and can book the taxi to the airport for you. It is clean and the beds are quite comfortable. There is hot water. The food is excellent, particularly the breakfast. The owner also advised to go for diner in a restaurant close by that is particularly cheap and good.

Disliked: It is far from the "Havana Vieja". However, it is easy to find a taxi (4CUC) and it will take 5 min drive. To walk it will be 30min, but it is not a nice walk. If you want a have a nice walk, enjoying the "malecon" then it may take 45-50min.

Liked: This property is ideal for a one night stay the night before your flight home as its on the side of the city nearest the airport. The property is very secure.

Disliked: The room was far too small and was in an area way out of the city with nothing nearby of interest to holiday makers.

Liked: Tamara, the owner, would easily the best house host you have ever had. Her breakfast worth every pennies. The house is secure. The room is clean with AC, bathroom and fans. I never expect that much for the price. I came back to stay for another 5 days there because there were no other place offer same value and service for the money. Absolutely recommend it for other travelers

Liked: I had a very comfortable stay here. I came back for my last days because it was nice and cozy. The location is great (next to bus terminal and places to eat). Everything was always kept immaculately clean. Fresh tropical fruits for breakfast everyday. A/C, tv, big bed in room. When issues with my cc, Tamara and Gilberto went beyond the call of duty to help me get everything straightened out. Highly recommended !!!

Liked: Tamara and Guilberto were very friendly and helpful hosts. They made our stay an enjoyable one. We felt very safe and at home. They offer laundry services and our room even had its own fridge stocked with cold beer and water for purchase. They have a gorgeous front porch to sit and watch the people go by. Tamara makes a great breakfast too!

Disliked: The only downfall is the location... a bit far away from Old Havana so it means spending some extra cash on taxis.

Liked: Tamara and Gilberto are really nice owners. They explain everything you need to know about Havana. Thay have information about anything you need to know, so you don't really need a tourist information. And Their information is better, more authentic. They help a lot in everything you need, for example sending a package in the mail and not getting ripped off.. Good food. Good price. Really greate Casa! Very recommended! And if I'll come to Havana again, for sure I will stay there.

Disliked: Only the lacation is a bit far from the center. But the taxi is really cheap.

Disliked: we believe that we had been double booked and given a room totally unsuitable for guests. it was full of personal items and all the wardrobes were full of clothes and clutter on top. the room was on the ground floor next to the kitchen and utilty room where the owners were still food blending and washing at 11:30 in the evening. although the bedroom had air conditioning this was unusable due to excessive noise. theres more, but all i would say if you enjoy a good nights sleep, forget it.

Liked: People who run the casa are very friendly and honest, the rooms and the bathroom are cleaned daily, and there is a restaurant next block which serves very good food and have English-speaking staff. The casa offers a great value for money. It is located less than 5 mins walk from the main buss station and around 30mins walk from the old town centre (or you may take a quick and cheap taxi).

Liked: The owners are very friendly and professional. The place is clean. Lovely location sinceits close to the bus terminal ..the main one whre you can get transport to go anywhere you want. The rooms are clean and secure.. breakfast was good too...i loved it!

Liked: The host family were extremely helpful; from providing an excellent nutritious breakfast, advising on places to visit and even making phone calls to check opening hours. The house was cleaned thoroughly everyday and was very safe. Absolutely recommend 100%, thanks for a great stay Tamara.

Disliked: The only slight negative is the location, which is approx 30 min walk to Habana Vieja. This is compounded by the general bad state of repair of the pavements and poor street lighting. I advise using taxis after dark, negotiate the fare before setting off, don't pay more than 3 or 4 CUC to the centre.
