Liked: Great place! Very clean and confortable. The owner Rolando is really friendly and a great host. We followed his advice and suggestions for our trip to Cuba and it worked out really well. I also recommend this place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was fresh and it was so much better than in any other palladares. Great value for money!Thanks Rolando!

Liked: Rolando and Magaly are lovely people, with very good English and so helpful! They made us feel so welcome, and the house itself is lovely. The breakfast is great (fruit, eggs, juice, coffee) and they also offer an evening meal at a good price, of which the quality is better than any restaurant. We'd definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting Havana- its a good location, in Centro Havana so you get to see the real thing rather than staying in the tourist district. Its about a 15 minute walk to Parque Centrale and Old Town, and you can make it to the other side of the city as well with a nice walk. Its a really good base, and Ronaldo is even helpful in giving information on other places to visit within Cuba.

Liked: You have to stay here! We stayed in several casa´s whilst we were in cuba and this was the best. Rolando, his wife and his mum are so lovely and helpful, wish we could have stayed longer than 6 nights! The food is incredible, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the location is perfect. Rolando was so helpful with information when we first arrived and incredibly kind and helpful when I had to report my camera stolen to the police, he came with us and sorted everything. Best casa in Havana you must stay there!

Liked: Rolando very helpful and had good english, was able to offer advice to us on other casas in Cienfuegos and Trinidad who were even prepared to meet us at the bus station. Place was 15 minute walk from the centre in a secure area where we felt safe at all times. Magaly was also a good cook and kept the place immaculate, value for money for sure. I was stuck in Havana for an additional week coz of the volcanoe and I could not have been in a better place.

Liked: Rolando' s House is good to stay for the first time in Cuba and Havanna - you will get the most imporant rules for traveling in Cuba and Havanna. So no rip off will happen to you :-)

Liked: Rolando is a very friendly host and speaks very good English. He is very helpful and provides good advice for new visitors to Havana. I would also reccommend the food here, most casas we stayed at in Cuba had rather average food and overly big portions of food, however the meals here at Casa Rolando are superb.

Liked: Rolando and Magaly are very helpful! they can show you were are the places to go, both know a lot about Cuba!The Breakfast are very good, and both are exellent Cocineros!if you look for a good diner will you staying there, i really recommend them!!!we had a great time, and if we come back to cuba, we come again to Rolando and Magaly. Rita and Philip.

Liked: Rolando was a great host. Our credit cards did not work (BE WARNED - my english credit card didn't work as it is through an american company and my friends maestro was not accepted). We had to wait over the weekend for money to be sent though the embassy and Rolando let us stay without any payment. He gave us the lowdown on scams and the different areas of Havana. The rooms had good fans and high ceilings to keep it nice and cool. Highly recommended.

Liked: Absolutly gorgeous homestay! Lovely building, but not as close to the centre of the old town as I expected. The rooms are clean, staff extremely helpful & will do everything possible to make your stay most pleasant. Breakfast is not included in price, but offer it at anytime you like when you wake up, so no worry about missing it in the morning. They even offer to store your luggage free of charge until your evening flight in a spare room and give you a bathroom which you can access in the meantime. Very highly recommended. Would stay again :)
