Liked: Not much. It was cheap but I guess you get what you pay for.

Disliked: Like I said above, the sheets felt like they had never been washed, there was no hot water which they advertised, it was SO far away from everything and was advertised as the center of Havana, they gave us no key saying someome would always be there to let me in no matter what the time, except when they weren't at which point their neibors called the cops on me for knocking on the door late at night and I was arrested. When I got out and back to the casa my bags looked as if they were rifled through so I just left. There was really nothing good about this place; unfriendly, unsafe, untrustworthy.

Liked: Nice and helpful hosts! We had some friendly and interesting chats - and the Cuban coffee is lovely!!! A nice and safe area. On the twenty minutes walk to the centre we could buy delicious food and juices :)

Disliked: Allergic people (sensitive to mould or dog hair) might prefer another location. We didn't know we'd share the bathroom with our neighbour. Hardly daylight inside our room.

Liked: Looooooooved how nice people in Havana were and how acomodating all staff are in the CASA FINI!!!! Highly recommending to everyone!!!!!

Disliked: NOTHING!!!!! Everything was amazing!!!!! People are poor in Havana and that is not their choice but sooooo soooooo nice!!!!!

Liked: i really enjoyed staying at casa fini as the girls there just where good for a lot of laughing and conversation. even though our spanish was not good at all, they were really patient and supporting. the older daughter's englisch is also quite good so there was no actuall language barrier. they really know their town and country so don't hesitate to ask them anything. the rooms are clean and nice and fini can always arrange a place to stay if you want to stay a little longer. the dogs roma, napoleon and the two babies and just funny and we could't help but feeling welcomed. the time in havanna was way too short...!

Liked: Casa Fini was really helpful to make it easy for us getting there and being welcomed. It is just a few blocks away from the main bus terminal ( nice neighbourhood) but quite a walk from the city. The house though was filthy, so were the rooms, not talking about the smell of four dogs in such a small space. The bathroom was not prepared for us either and had problems with the shower and toilet as well.

Liked: Nice place and lovely family but was a little bit wierd as we didn't have our own key so felt a bit bad coming and going too much or coming back late. Felt a bit consigned to our room when we were in the Casa with not much chance to chat to the family or hang out. If I went back I would want to stay closer to town also - the 40 minute walk was fine in the day but made us think twice about staying in town too late.Having said that it was in a nice quiet part of town which felt like a typical Cuban neghbourhood. The breakfasts were good (although perhaps a bit pricey) and we were able to have use of a Cuban lonely planet for our whole stay which was great.

Liked: i like the stay in casa finita, friendly staff, very delicious meals and a very comfortable and clean room. all questions are answered well and all in all the stay fulfilled our demands in a very great way. we can recommand the casa to all travelers visiting havanna.
