The staff are very friendly and always trying to accommodate your needs. We felt very comfortable with them and enjoyed talking with them about Cuba. The location is perfect for Old Havana, close to all the major sites and within walking distance from almost everything. Just a few blocks from the Capital Building, it was a wonderful street to be on. I was very pleased with the room and the bathrooms facilities, also I was surprised at how quite it is inside the homes at night, lots going on in the streets but the noise does no seep into the homes. I guess all the cement helps. I would definitely visit the Homestay again.

Lourdes and her family made our arrival in Havana very easy and we felt it was a very safe and happy household to stay in. The breakfasts were excellent and when we went back at the end of our holiday it was like going home! It was sad to say goodbye!!

I truly liked the charm of the place along with the genuine hospitality of my hosts. You really get a great deal for the $. Lourdes and her family are kind and more than willing to make your stay as memorable as possible.

Lourdes' place itself is clean, safe and well-located. The best thing about this place, though, is the hospitality you get from Lourdes and her family. They are friendly, helpful and accomodating while also really respecting privacy. Lourdes went over and above for us in terms of calling around to arrange other places for us to stay throughout Cuba, and really helped us out when a bus mix-up had us land back in Havana early. (If you're headed to Trinidad, ask Lourdes if she could make a reservation with Jesus there... He was our other favourite host from the trip and greeted us by picking fresh fruit right off his trees for us.) The worst that I could say about Lourdes' place was that our bathroom was located across the hall from our bedroom, but it was private and clean, and in a low-traffic part of the home, so no real inconvenience. The price is exactly what you'll pay anywhere in the area, but you can be sure of a safe, comfortable place with good people.

Lourdes and her family are nice and very friendly people, the breakfast is good and fresh, and location of the casa particular is within easy acces to everywhere in the old town.

The Loudres family were very warm and welcoming and made us feel like part of the family during our stay. The home cooked food was excellent catering for vegetarians and carnivores alike.
