Liked: The property was both safe and secure. Iraida, who was the housekeeper was always extremely helpfull and friendly. Aleshandro, who was often present spoke excellent english and was always happy to help arrange activities such as scuba diving.

Disliked: The only down side was that it was located a reasoanble distance form the town centre.

Liked: Senora Iraida and her son Alejandro were very friendly and quite helpful in guiding us to the sights of Havana. Alejandro speaks very good English and we had some very interesting conversations about life and Cuba. We feel that we have made some very good friends and exchanged email and Facebook addreses. We plan to keep in touch and exchange pictures and information from time to time.

Liked: I would like to thank Iraida and her son for offering me such a genuine and friendly accomodation!At Casa Iraida I could meet locals, share their every day life and learn a lot about the Cuban culture, Spanish language included. In addition, Iraida was extremely helpful when I had to retrieve my luggage that was stuck (3 days!) somewhere between Cancun and Havana. She called the airport and my airline company (in Spanish of course, which I was quite unable to do myself) many times and she waited late at night until a taxi finally brought my belongings !I would strongly recommend Casa Iraida for an enriching stay in Havana!

Liked: Nice place, nice people however, no great with giving CORRECT information of things to d, buses, schedules etc. Peacefull, but boring. Had cold showers, bad internet that costs money. Overall, paid too much, crap breakfast, but half descent.

Liked: Wonderfull persons.Very helpfull, goog location in the heart of vedado wish is the down town of the new city. I'll definately stay there when i come back.

Liked: The Owners where very helpfull and good. They gave us a lot of information and also recomendations for other provinces. The place was realy clean, and the breackfast very good too. The naighboohood is realy safe, and the location in vedado is very good because they are in the center of havana, so it is easy to get everywhere in buss or cab.

Liked: Alejandro was very helpful, and gave us good tips for getting around Havana. We stayed here two nights, and even though we booked for the first night, when we arrived he said they were full - however this worked out fine because he took us to another casa just around the corner which was equally good. The bedroom was great and clean - airconditioning was very welcome in the Havana heat!

Liked: When we arrived, the owner told us that although we had booked online, other people were staying there and we had to stay with one of his friends...so I don't know the answer to the questions above, but we weren't very impressed...we had breakfast there and it was lame.

Liked: Iraida and her son Alejandro are both really nice and helpful. Alejandro speaks excellent English in case you don't speak Spanish. Vedado is a nice location though it's a long walk from old Havana. Breakfasts are basic, bread and jam, but should be included in the price.
