Liked: The family was very friendly and had a lot of good advice.

Disliked: The location, can be a little unsecure to walk alone down the streets to the center, and takes some time - about 15 - 20 min. Should be cleaned everyday - making of the beds, cleaning of the bathroom floor, and new towels. Missing a balcony, and that makes you feel a bit "locked in".

Liked: Very safety place and very friendly owner. Dobré a bezpečné místo za dobré peníze. Majitel je velmi vstřícný a svědomitý.

Disliked: The shower does not work properly. Please fix it. Trochu jednodušší vybavení, malý tlak vody.

Liked: Excellent place. Made us feel so welcome, gave us some great advise on the city and really made our stay. We came back a 2 weeks later it was so good.

Liked: Nicolas and his wife Rosa made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. They helped us out with information about Havana and useful tips about visiting Cuba and had a list of friends with rooms throughout the island so that our itinerary for travelling was made as easy as it could be. The rooms were comfy and clean and it was great to stay somewhere that felt like a real Cuban home and not a hotel. I am definitely going back there as soon as I can, and have kept in touch with them .They didn't promote Hostelbookers as I understand they are no longer on your books since the American take over - which is huge shame!

Liked: Nicolas and his wife are fantastic hosts, quiet yet engaging and ever so helpful with regards to any questions one might pose. The house itself is very quaint with high white-washed ceilings, spacious rooms, thin french doors and a delightful sliver of a balcony overlooking the main street. The location is perfectly situated too, with a 300m walk to the malecon, and a brisk 5 min stroll into the heart of downtown Havana. Certainly recommendable.

Liked: Nicholas the host was one of the friendliest people we met on our travels, not only did he speak excellent English but also helped us out with organising the rest of our amazing trip round the island... Easily one of the best Casa's stayed in on the trip.
