Liked: From the moment I walked through the doors I felt completely at home. Ania and Alex are two of the nicest people that you will meet on your travels, and in many ways they typify the Cuban experience that I enjoyed during my time here; extremely friendly, helpful, accomodating and they really make you feel like you`re part of their family. The dorm room and facilities are great. Cuba isn`t exactly backpacker friendly and as a solo traveler it was nice to have a place where you could meet other travelers and go out together. You may even find a travel companion to help share costs for the rest of your trip as I did. I would highly recommend this hostel and I look forward to the next time I can return to see my new Cuban family. ... Es decir, desde el momento que Ania y Alex mi abrieron sus puertas yo sentià como que estuviera en mi hogar con mi propria familia. Ania y Alex son buenisma gente y te tratan como su propia familia. Tienen grandes corazónes y espero (con muchas ganas) la proxima vez cuando vuelva a ver mi familia nueva Cubana. Liked: Ania and Alex are really lovely people and make everybody feel at home straight away. The room was spotless and the food delicious and in really generous portions. Great place for travellers or people that like to make new friends.

Liked: This Casa is amazing! We loved it so much that after travelling around Cuba we returned to Casa de Ania for another three nights! The staff are all so friendly and helpful! Alex and Ania speak good English and they will also help you with your Spanish! The whole family are so kind! Definitely get that home away from home feeling! The common room is a great place to meet other travellers, and the location is perfect! Right in the centre of Havana! We would definitely reccomend this place to anyone that wants to visit Havana, Cuba! We will be back again next year! Thank you Casa de Ania!! Te Amo!!!! Nicole and Sara (UK) =) x

Liked: There is a great socializing area for guests, which is great if you are traveling alone as you get to meet everyone that is staying there. The food is good and the staff are awesome, they Ania and Alex are great! Thanks for a great place to stay in Havana!

Liked: The casa itself has a great location, with excellent rooms, food and safety, but most of all fantastic hosts! Exeryone working at Casa de Ania could not have been more welcoming, helpful or nice to us when we were staying there and also in helping us on the future legs of our trip. I definately recommend this casa if you are in Havana.

Liked: There were other travellers which was great for our first stop in Cuba, we went on to meet up with a few of these people throughout our travels. The location is great and so was the food (even had their own vegetarian menu!). Great for two girls travelling and the owners spoke English and were so helpful for providing information about travelling and further places to stay in Cuba. We had so much fun on our way home we came back to celebrate new years here as was a good way to meet people!

Liked: Before arrival: I emailed the casa to confirm my booking. I received a prompt email back from them confirming the booking and an offer to provide any other assistance I needed. Upon arrival: I was greeted by the friendly hosts and taken to my bed. All the sheets were clean and fresh. There is a locker, big enough for two backpacks. Food: breakfast and dinner is made inhouse and were delicious. Very reasonalby priced and served with a huge smile. Atmosphere: I came to stay for one night and ended up staying for 4. The hosts are so friendly, it´s very comforting. The crowd was from all over and we hung out in the living room most evenings. Facilities: Every part of this house is clean. I have not seen any dust anywhere. The bedlinen are fresh and the rooms are huge. I shared a room with 5 others and was very comfortable. I would recommend this casa without hesitation and will choose to stay here when I return to Habana someday.

Disliked: Nothing. It was above my expectations. The hosts are always there to help.

Liked: Very friendly people. If you need help they can manage to do it. Excellect and cheap lobsters. Good location, just close to Malecon. Here you can find some other backpackers to go party.

Liked: The property was very secure, there was someone on the premises 24 hours of the day. The standard of the food was very good - big portions, good quality, homemade food. The dorm room was clean and very bright with individual large private lockers. Very friendly staff

Liked: Ania´s casa is definitely the best casa in Havana. I spent one month here and enjoyed every minute of it! Ania and her whole family took great care of me, making sure I had everything i needed and were more than happy to help me with anything (from renewing my visa to organising accomodation for me in other places in Cuba). The house is very comfortable, very clean, very safe. The food is amazing, with a great selection of vegetarian dishes. This house has been a fantastic place to meet people from all over the world, as there are always people coming and going, and coming back again - perfect for people travelling alone! I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Liked: Having returned to this wonderful hostal after spending time around in Cuba, this casa is by far the truly most memorable with the nice hosts, the great food and the other guests that you do not meet in smaller casas. This place has definitely been the best value for my money and a great point for meeting fellow travellers, which I should definitely like to visit again next time in Havana

Liked: small place with loads of charakter. Very nice atmosphere, you can meet a fellow travellers, the room very clean and very good beds. Ania and Alex makes you feel like at home, very good food, even simple blackbeans taste wonderful, but try lobster...fantastic...we had wonderful stay at casa ania...definitely recommend to stay there

Liked: Ania and Alex were perfect hosts. When I first arrived in Cuba my bags were lost during the flight and I had problems with my Canadian bank. Since I couldn´t speak Spanish, Ania called the airport for 3 days every fifteen minutes until they found and delivered my bags to the hostel. They also helped me with finding the banking institutions that could wire money to Cuba from a Canadian account.

Liked: The casa was clean, in a reasonably located location, good value for money and most of all, ania and Alex are amazing people (the people who run the place). They were always helpful and also spoke to us openly about their way of life. We actually stayed their again because they were so friendly. We stayed in oth casas as well in Cuba and this was by far the best. Also the food was amazing and they probably did the breakfast out of all the places we stayed in Cuba. Sam

Disliked: The road itself is not in the best condition but then again, most roads are like that in Havana.

Liked: Casa de ania was a brilliant place to stay. Ania and her family looked after us well, the food was great, and she makes the best daquiris in all of cuba!! The property is very clean and fairly modern, with a good location near the malecon. A great atmosphere and a brilliant way to meet other travellers to see havana and party with!! definately recommended
