Liked: Really enjoyed my stay here, Ania and all her staff were very helpful and friendly. The hostel is a great place to meet other backpackers if youre travelling along. The food was probably the best I had in the whole time in Cuba!

Liked: The Best Casa Period!!. this Casa is not one of the best it Habana, itis with no doubt the Best Casa in Habana, is close to everything Vieja Havana, Malecon, Plaza de la Revolucion, Universidad de la Habana, but the best part is this Family Ania & alex along with averybody in the house will defitely will make you feel at home away from home you feel treated as family these people are really caring! btw Alex has all the inside on what's really going on in Habana, this place is the abosolute Best!!.

Liked: Ania and the rest of her family are wonderful hosts. We arrived and they helped us navigate our lost souls around the city, the room and facilities were excellent and very clean. We hoped to stay on our return to Havana but they were that popular that they were booked out, even still they helped locate a room nearby and made us still feel at home even though we weren't there.

Disliked: Nothing that I disliked.

Liked: I had such a great time here and would recommend Ania´s to anyone. Everyone was so friendly and helpful (and so funny!) and really made my stay in Havana so enjoyable. Also, I had a camera with me coming to Cuba and was worried about security but Ania has taken every possible precaution and to have peace of mind about my belongings was such a relief.

Disliked: I didn´t dislike anything.

Liked: The whole world meets in a Cuban Casa and makes it the most perfect place you stay in in La Havana. It is perfectly located in a quite corner near the lively area and offers good quality and perfectly clean accomodation. Everyone is friendly and people here will give you the best insights about where and what to do!

Disliked: This place has nothing to dislike about. I have been to hundreds other places during months. You will be delighted :)

Liked: Ania, Alex and the whole staff is really kind and helpful, for example you don't have to pay for water you drink as it is always the case in other casas around Cuba. It is an hostel, a kind of stay not easy to find in cuba, so you it's very easy to met other travelers; indeed there's a common room where you have your breakfast (no matter the time you wake up!!! really appreciate) and your dinner togrther with other guests. Suggested if you are travelling alone. Good value for breakfast (3CUC) and for dinner (8-10 CUC) both very complete. And sometimes ...... a free mojito. Once I also need to wash my dresses, ania did it ...... for free! Your own keys will be provided, so you are free to get in and out whenever you want. The location is good, a bit far from Habana vieja (20 min walking, but never more than 2-3 CUC by a private taxi and only 10 cuban pesos for old american shared taxy) but very close to the Malecon and to Vedado, where you can find the main places to go out during the night as bars, clubs, discos.

Disliked: If you are interested in staying with a cuban family, probably this is not the right place because you will spend more time with other tourists in the casa. But, if you plan to go to other place in cuba you will stay with a cuban family because you will not find any hostels outside Habana.

Liked: Excellent place to meet other travellers!! Had so much fun there and would always come back.. Ania and Alex were extremely helpful. It is probably the only casa in Cuba that offers single beds instead of rooms, very safe and clean and lots of atmosphere and good vibes:) Loved it!!

Liked: superb hostel with a proper hostel atmosphere encouraged by the lovely owners, ania and alex. excellent quality of food and quantity of food offered. great dinner and breakfast further encourages mingling with the other guests. strongly recommended.

Liked: This is the best hostel I have ever lived in. Mrs. Ania and her husbands goes above and beyond to make you feel confortable. The professionalism and courtsey ranks beyond any 5 star hotel I lived in and the cook is more than a cook, he is indeed a 5 star cheft.

Disliked: There is nothing to dislike about Ania Casa. The aircondition went out but was immediately replaced with a brand new one within hours of the same day. This is the level of service you recieve at Casa Ania. Everything is ran like a well oil machine. You get nothing but perfect at this place.

Liked: Everything about this property was fantastic. I was travelling alone and by staying here i was instantly introduced to the real Cuba. I cant reccomend it enough.

Liked: I had book only a room for myself, but I arrived there with a friend and they had only one bed left. Anita organized a room just next door for us. And when I came back to Havana a few days later, I could store my luggage there for the day until I had to go to the airport. Overall, extremely friendly and helpful staff. And Anita always has a coffee for you :-)

Disliked: The pickup was not at the airport, but my flight was also delayed by 2hours and a taxi to the case costs the same (20CUCs).

Liked: One of the very few casas particulares that is run like a hostel. Very lovely people run the place. It is located between centro havana and vedado, so you have access to both areas. Easily the best place to stay if you are looking to meet other travelers.

Liked: The staff at Casa de Ania could not be more helpful or more friendly!! The casa is spotless and very safe. Eating huge portions of fantastic Cuban cuisine each evening, whilst listening to Guantanamera - perfect!

Disliked: Although close to the Malecon, the casa is quite far from Havana Vieja. But transport is in abundance so it really isn't that much of an issue.

Liked: The hosts Ania & Halet were very friendly and accommodating. The place was spotless and very well positioned in the Vedado area of Habana. The beds were comfortable and the balcony was a great place to sit and watch the world go by. Security was excellent and the rooms had huge security cupboards that easily fitted a big packback and more . Internet was available if you asked nicely after 8pm...slow but hey, this is Cuba !! The Paladar downstairs served excellent food...try the signature pork dish. Huge !!!

Disliked: Nothing really. The water and power went off and on a bit each day, but hey this is Cuba and no fault of the owners.
