This newly opened and fully equipped resort is situated only a few meters from the crystal clear Adriatic Sea in the charming bay of Zaostrog along the magnificent Makarska Riviera. Sleep by the sounds and smells of the sea in one of our 33 rooms each equipped with 2-8 beds, mini-bar fridge, LCD/SAT TVs and AC/Heat. Dine in and enjoy our A/C cooled and heated restaurant/event room – bar, music, light show, projector and big plasma TVs. Beautiful restaurant terrace with café bar offers all the premium beverages and of course sweets and ice cream! During the day release stress or just have some fun on our multi-purpose sports court by playing a competitive or friendly game of football, volleyball, basketball or handball. After dark let off some more steam by dancing or singing the night away complete with music, karaoke and light show. Location Information

Zaostrog is a small coastal town and is located aproximately half way between big tourist centers and cities Split and Dubrovnik. Zaostrog is 30 km south of city of Makarska and 25 km north from the city of Ploče. Hostel Eklata is located right in the center of Zaostrog right alongside the main beach.
To reach Zaostrog take the main and only road that goes between cities Split and Dubrovnik and you will see the entrance to the town of Zaostrog. As you enter Zaostrog continue straight on the main and only road down to the sea front and the center of Zaostrog. Make a left and continue alongside the main beach for about three hundred meters and hostel Eklata will be on your left. Before you arrive to the hostel you will pass by the Franciscan Monastery and museum of St. Mary.
