Liked: Ivan, the guy who rented us the appartment, was such a nice guy. He sent us an sms and met us as soon as we arrived at the building, and was very welcoming and informative about Zagreb. The apartment itself was lovely. It is on a tram line, but also a short enough walk from the city centre.It has 2 nice bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and bath, a washing machine, small kitchen and quite an open living space. It was really great value for money, and I would recommend it for anybody coming to Zagreb! Thanks a lot Ivan :)

Liked: The appartment was very clean and it has everything you need. It has two toilets and a shower. The kitchen was equiped with basic supplies, but also things like sugar and tea. The free wi-fi worked great and if there is a rainy day or if you fill ill there were lots of dvds you can watch.

Disliked: Nothing, it was amazing!

Liked: Ivan, the owner, is a very kind and helpfull person. The appartment (Unska 2B) was very large, clean, well-equipped (TV, DVD player with DVD's and airco) and contained a lot of helpfull maps and city guides to explore the city of Zagreb. It's on the 7th floor, so a nice view over the city. Location is quite good, 10-15 minute walk to the city centre. Parking space and supermarket are next to the building.

Disliked: We didn't dislike anything. If you're looking for other backpackers this is not the place, but when traveling with a group this is perfect!

Liked: The staff was really helpfully and kindly. He gave us all facilities he could. The apartment is very clean and big.

Liked: We stayed at Apartment 2, Unska 2b. Everything is as stated in the property page, the apartment was clean, cosy and had all basic equipment for cooking, washing. Ivan was very friendly and helpful host. I would really recommend this property if you are going to stay in Zagreb!

Disliked: In the apartment 2 there is one big living room and two small bedrooms as described. Living room was equipped with air conditioner while other rooms had only ordinary wind-fans (it may relevant during hot days). However, this is not really a big downside of the property. We still had a good sleep :)

Liked: The kitchen facilities have to be newer.It's quite expensive.

Liked: There are two apartments. The location of the second one Vodnika 6 is better but is 5 mins walk from the other and somehow close to the center by walk (15 mins) or tram, near the free zone. Ivan is a great host!

Disliked: The general aspect is ok, but the owner had bad luck with us because we found the place not so clean and didn't like this aspect on value per money ratio.

Liked: We booked apartment 1 - listed on the website as a 6-bed dorm so I was expecting it to be within the hostel itself. Actually, it was a separate property entirely - a very spacious kitchen/living/dining area (with basic cooking facilities such as a hob and kettle, very large table and chairs, plus sofa area), and then a separate room with six bunks. Free wifi too, which was a welcome extra. The whole place seemed to occupy what was recently a language school, but it was well located and great for a group to have the privacy of your own apartment at a very reasonable fee. Ivan, who runs the property, was incredibly friendly and helpful when we arrived - gave us lots of advice about things to do in Zagreb, how to get around etc and was very welcoming. Top marks to the host!

Disliked: The shower in the corner of the kitchen was a little odd, but it was behind a curtain and worked well, so I wouldn't really say 'dislike' - more just a quirk of the place!

Liked: We staid in the place with 3 bunks. It had a bohemian atmosphere. As others have noted, Ivan is very friendly. I'd definitely consider taking that room (we were a family of 5) again when if visiting Zagreb again. I hope we do since it's a very nice city and only few tourists (at least in July).

Disliked: The was some fan-noise in the bedroom at night, but nothing that stopped us from sleeping well. The kitchen was rudimentary, but we did use it.

Liked: It's cheap and you get a whole apartment to yourself!The owner Ivan was fantastic! He helped us getting to know do's and don'ts in Zagreb, and it was very easy following his instructions.

Disliked: The furniture is quite worn, and in the summer it does get very hot, but then there's airconditioning, so it's not really a problem.

Liked: The apartment owner Ivan is very nice and friendly. He gave us useful tips on where to go, where to eat, how to get around the city etc. The apartment is clean and cozy. It's close to the upper town as well, just around 15-20 mins walk. Or you can take the tram and you will arrive at the main squareTrg bana Josipa Jelacica in 5-10mins. There are numerous trams passing nearby taking you to different directions of the town. The only drawback is it's quite close to the railtrack, so it can be quite noisy during early morning when the trains start running. But you can't really complain 'cos it's only 78 euros/ nt which is definitely a bargain.

Liked: The appartment is really nice and confortable. We booked 1 night and ended staying 3 plus 1 a week after. That means something... Besides, we were not far from the town centre. We loved it, and undoubtably recommend it!
