Liked: I did like best the friendliness of the staff, the atmosphere was great. We had a wonderful stay in zabreb! Thank you for that! :)

Liked: This is definetly a funky hostel!! Great location the girls in the day were really helpful n full of info about Zagreb, we arrived at 1.30am n they were fine about it couldnt let them know due to traVel issues, breakfast well it was food! Beds were great, bathrooms clean I would recommend it but....see dislike

Disliked: I'm a smoker myself, but this place does smell so if u don't like the smell I probably would t recommend it they need better ventilation or to shut off the down stairs area from the upstairs.

Liked: The place is conviniently located, parking is available.nearby. Facilities are new and clean, there is washing machine and wifi available.

Disliked: Nicotine smell + a lot of noise thru the whole night :( People smoking everywhere - reception desk, kitchen, on the stairs - there is no ventilation and the smell creeps well into the sleeping rooms. Staff tries to kill the smell with some scents during daytime, but to no avail. During the night I felt like I'm inside a disco club - people talking loud, laughing, walking back-forth making general noise. That went on for the whole night... Couldn't sleep at all! If you have to rest (sleep) at night this is NOT the place to go.

Liked: Great Hostel- Staff were extremely friendly, would go out of their way to help, especially Mia. Kitchen, Washing Machine and Dryer for free, 1Euro dinners, Basement lounge area with Cable TV and DVD's. Very close to a tram stop. Easy to find. Would stay here again.

Liked: Very friendly people! The beds are really comfortabale. When I e-mailed them to ask about and extra bed for the child they e-mailed me back in 10 minutes which is a really fast answer compared to other facilities.

Disliked: There is nothing to dislike.

Liked: A youth hostel highly recommanded for travelers looking for nightlife as well as a bed!

Disliked: just a little bit far from the old city center, but a tram stop is near the place.

Liked: i liked the location, cause it is very close to city center (only 25min by foot). Staff was friendly... rooms are clean... we had a dinner for only 1 euro, which is excellent :)

Liked: This hostel was easy to find, the dorms were large and each bunk had a locker big enough for large packs :) the free laundry service was awesum and the free dinner and shots was also great! :)

Liked: it was a home away from home, the people were fantastic and I the staff really went the extra mile to help me when I had problems

Disliked: you really do need to take the tram to arrive until you get a feel for the city , its not easy to find in the dark but it is in a safe area

Disliked: We booked to stay in the funk hostel but were moved to the funk lounge as they had double-booked. they also promised us a private room but we had to share with others.

Liked: we got there and the place overbooked but they were very helpful and put us in there other hostel. Guy at reception was really helpful. Short tram to the centre

Liked: We had a wonderful time at Funk Hostel. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They even let us nap in the lounge when we arrived really early.

Liked: Nice place with clean toilets and shower rooms. Kitchen was well equipped.

Disliked: Location provided is a bit unclear.

Liked: Amazing kitchen, very friendly and helpful staff. Huge drawer for luggage.

Disliked: Too far from the bus/train stations (30min walk from bus), so tram tickets are necessary in a town that doesn't really require tram usage. People smoked downstairs all night and the smoke filled our room. Also quite loud music from somewhere inside.

Liked: Really, really helpful staff. Great kitchen and free laundry! Attractions and train station are within walking distance however I would reccomend a tram if you carrying your packs.

Disliked: Walls are thin. Would have liked thicker walls when the couple next door got down to business.

Liked: Excellent value for money, and well located just outside the main city centre, but within easy reach by tram or brisk walk. Very helpful staff, thanks to Anya for all the tips.

Liked: friendly staff and security locker/drawer. it was big and right below the beds. when we were leaving, the guy who works there helped carrying my girlfriend's suitcase and he noticed the handle was broken. he took out a tool case and fixed it for her! i also enjoyed people staying there. many of them came from traveling in schengen for 90 days already so they had to come to croatia. ate dinner with them and exchanged good information. i really had a pleasant stay there and i know i'll be back there for sure! hvala (thanks), if you are reading this!
