Liked: Good location for sightseeing , wandering and going out. Well equipped and well designed . Would be a great place to meet people and start a night out !

Liked: Great location, good facilities, Sean was very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: I think it's about to shut down for low season, it can be a hassle if you need the staff around.

Liked: Very warm, hospitable people and atmosphere in an ideal location for going out day or night. The staff are genuinely friendly and really go out of their way to make guests comfortable.

Disliked: The kitchen facilities might not have everything that other hostels offer but they are adequate. There is a huge fresh food market very near so eating cheap is quite easy.

Liked: Great location in the heart of Zagreb. Lots of live music and cafes just outside (probably avoid if you're a light sleeper). Hostel gave great recommendation for dinner. Free washing

Disliked: Room set up was a bit weird - no locks on doors and not enough lockers for everyone's stuff. Having said that it felt safe while I was there. Possibly not enough toilets during a busy season (one between everyone on the floor)

Liked: The location is really great, WiFi works well in the room, the staff was nice and helpful.

Disliked: The light in the stairwell actually had a motion sensor which didnt really work. The toilets had no toiletpaper each morning, so someone had to get down to reception and ask for more. The showers were not really clean but okay and there is just one toilet and one shower for each floor.

Liked: It is in a brilliant location, staff were helpful, and although we arrived late at night someone was there to greet us. (We had emailed the day before to say we would be late and the hostel replied quickly to the email)

Disliked: There was only one bathroom on our floor between two 8 bed dorms.

Liked: Perfect location, short walk from train station, extremely helpful staff (Boris is the man!), free wifi, porch to chill on, etc.

Liked: I really enjoyed the athmosphere in this hostel. The stuff was very politely, funny and relaxed. We also enjoyed all types of services as e.g. a dvd-player, washing mashine, nice kitchen.

Liked: great location, great atmosphere, and a free shot in the bar downstairs!

Disliked: not much, if i was to be really picky then we could have done with some air conditioning but it is something i wouldn't have expected from a hostel anyway.

Liked: everything, particularly the home cooked meal. Proper Croatian food = amazing!

Disliked: the shower was a bit dodgey. Needs something to hold the showerhead to the wall.

Liked: Location was perfect and the staff were lovely - especially Boris and Leo! We really enjoyed our stay and if we ever find ourselves back in Zagreb we'll definitely be staying at City Centre Hostel again.

Disliked: Nothing - everything was perfect.

Liked: Awesome hostel! Sandra & Boris were so friendly giving us info about Zagreb and other destinations in Croatia, plus a discount voucher for food and beer & welcome drink downstairs. Free lockers in the communal area. Clean kitchen, bathrooms and rooms with PLENTY OF HOT WATER and power points. Central location in a funky cafe strip. Like staying at a mates place.

Disliked: Nothing, great place to stay. They had issue with the hot water system (mentioned in other reviews) but it's fixed now and we had no problems at all.

Liked: Very close to the city centre.

Disliked: Very small hostel area, felt like an apartment where the rooms were let out to travellers. No lockers available. The hostel was too close to the centre, all night was drunk shouters or scooters.

Liked: Very well situated. Relax atmosphere. Living room really cool to relax...

Disliked: The staff should have been more energic in providing useful information and tips about visiting around Zagreb. Very nice staff but a bit too sloppy.... dont make many efforts in finding better than what the tourism office has not managed to find for us such.

Liked: Loved staying here. Great lady that works there. Really helped out with any questions we had. Fantastic loacation. In the pub/eating spot in upper city. Great Price and comfy beds. Meet some fantastic people here.
