05 March 2011 Destiny would recommend this property

Liked: There was a well equiped kitchen, and the location couldn't have bean better. It's right next to the Dolic market, so it was easy to get food in the morning. It was also next so a bunch of bars, so there was stuff to do at night.

Disliked: It was cold at night, either because we forgot to turn on one of the heaters, or because they were antiquate for the room.

Liked: Very clean and inviting hostel. the owner has a wealth of knowledge and is very friendly. Seemed like a college dorm with everyone just leaving things around...i mean we are all traveling backpackers arent we!

Disliked: The beds were a little shaky (but comfortable) and the room was way too cold!!!

Liked: Do not hesitate to stay in this hostel.

Liked: It felt safe, it has great location and it is quiet in the same time.

Disliked: Floor boards in bedroom would squeak every time someone would get in. It was the only room with squeaky floor and it was really annoying for me because I needed good night sleep before my marathon the next day.

Liked: The owners were extremely helpful and went out of their way to help us and other hostels. Good kitchenette facilities. Located right off a main square.

Disliked: Somewhat shoddy appearance although I understand they are decorating.

Liked: Good location, kindly personell, very helpful.

Disliked: For a non-EU country of Croatia is EUR 20,70 (EUR 23,00 service fee for Hostelbookers included) a little bit too much for a semi-private room, especially when breakfast was not included in price.

Liked: Nice room, location brilliant in the centre of Zagreb, but not noisy in the evening. Can walk to major sights.

Disliked: Beds uncomfy, bathroom facilities-poor

Liked: The staff was nice and helpful.

Disliked: Everything was good except the internet was SLOW and the computer would periodically shut down at random times. Also, my single room was dirty. The bedsheets, floor, everything was covered in dirt. I would like it if they cleaned the rooms better. My friend stayed in the dorm room and the beds were cleaner there.

Liked: The description of how to find the hostel was very good. The communal kitchen was a good size.

Disliked: WE GOT BEDBUGS! There is no doubt that we got the bites from this hostel as it was our first stop in Croatia and the bites appeared the next day. A pharmacist confirmed the bites to be from bed-bugs. It's now two weeks later and I can still see where I was bitten and one of the friends I was travelling with has been to hospital twice because of the severity of the bites.
