Liked: While the exterior may be deceiving, this hostel is actually very welcoming and is an overall great place to stay. We stayed for two nights, and the staff were very friendly. Rooms are clean, have fans, and the hostel is only a short walk to the city centre.

Disliked: nothing

Liked: Good location, staff were very helpful. Very decent hostel overall.

Disliked: Was a bit difficult to find, room was a bit cramped.

Liked: The hobo bear hostel is very good located near the center. It's clean and secure. And the very good thing is that the staff is very friendly and helpfulness.

Liked: I like the stones inside the hostel and the kitchen is real nice!

Disliked: Its boring that the dorms are just for sleep since the common room issnt that social... it would be nice to have a mirror and a table in the dorms. And u should put a sign up so u can see it more easily from the street...

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff, welcomed with a beer, free internet, local info and a cold beer! Lovely room, spotlessly clean, modern decor. 5 minutes walk to the main square.

Disliked: Double room was a little small and the kitchen was next to it so could be noisy. Neither of these would stop me from booking again though.

Liked: I arrived quite late due to the train delay but the staff helped me on the phone so there was no problem at all. The location is easy to get around the city.

Disliked: Some showers were out of order but it might be temporary.

Liked: Prime location in downtown Zagreb. Plus the entire Hobo Bear team has been extremely helpful and friendly. I especially like the hang out den and the kitchen area, very well equipped.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike about.

Liked: This is a well thought-out hostel, with attention to providing the things most budget travellers would need. It was in a nice building and had a friendly atmosphere.

Disliked: The shower I had was slightly hard to keep the water temperature constant.

Disliked: I got a bad vibe from this place actually. Although I don't want to blame the hostel entirely because I did not enjoy Zagreb as a city so perhaps that is why I did not like the hostel.

Liked: Very good location, very close to city center and railway station. Pay a bit extra to avoid tram or train fees..why not!! Clean room n bed, clean kitchen and bathroom. Everything is alright. Mr Mark...nice guy!

Disliked: Dining place too small even have nice clean kitchen...but if not too busy it should be fine!

Liked: The staff are amazing, so friendly and the kitchen is clean. Really liked it except for the bed bugs!!!

Disliked: would have been an awesome place to stay but every morning I woke up with little bites all over me. Should have checked out right away but didn't and now I need to try and get rid of the bed bugs. Such a pain. And the hostel would have been perfect otherwise. Up to you if you want to chance it...

Liked: Hostel was in a great location and was very clean - staff were very friendly and made all 11 of us feel welcome.

Disliked: The group of lads from Birmingham but this was not the hostel's fault

Liked: The location is fantastic - a few minutes walk from the main square, and it has a great communal lounge where you can buy beers and relax. We were in a group of 11, so some were in the dorms in the main building, but 6 of us were couples, and were given a private flat just across the road with its own kitchen, bathroom and internet access. This worked out really well, as we spent some time in both buildings. The staff were friendly and helpful, recommending bars and restaurants, and booking us cheap taxis back to the airport. I would recommend this hostel to anyone.

Liked: Loved the place, the staff was awesome and helped us a lot, everything was very clean, the kitchen was very well equiped, there are supermarkets and a pizza restaurant super close and not very expensive. The common room is great, there are movies, books and 2 computers available. We really recommend it, we had a great time there =).

Disliked: Nothing at all

Liked: It was a very nice hostel. Ok Location and friendly staff. Comfy beds. Nice kitchen.

Disliked: Shut the commonroom at 11pm so if your not going out to party the only place to hang out is in your room. Can be very noisy at night.

Liked: I really only stayed a few hours so I can't comment that much. It seemed like a really nice, well-kept place and the staff was really nice and helpful.

Disliked: Again, was hardly there, but I got the feeling it wasn't the most social environment.
