Liked: The hostel is relatively cheap. Accepts pets. Accepts credit cards. We were able to park our cars in the yard of the house (not much space though).

Disliked: Some of the blankets smelled of cigarettes.

Liked: Reception guy was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

Disliked: Bit far from the central area and bus station, not much in the area but it is well connected by trams.

Liked: Good technical equipment (enough modern PCs, Internet).

Disliked: Sligthly dark atmosphere.

Liked: they have a plum tree and nobody seemed to eat them so we took loads for ourselves :) and also they have a cat and a shy cat next door.

Disliked: it's pretty much in the middle of nowhere but the tram was close. there was a rat or something in the shower after we finished..the cat was chasing it i guess.. after that we went to the room and there was a massive grasshopper flying around

Liked: We really enjoyed our stay at this hostel in Zagreb. The atmosphere was very good, a good place to meet other backpackers, though it was still quiet enough to sleep (unlike some places we've stayed!!). There was a great array of facilities, a computer room with 3 computers, a common room with a large DVD collection, laundry room, and a kitchen. every floor (3 plus basement) had toilets and showers, and these we cleaned daily. Hygiene seemed to be important at this hostel, which we found good, we'd see the "caretaker" cleaning rooms and bedding everyday - this really impressed us! The hostel has a mix of dorms and private rooms, ours was a private, and though small, it was clean and had a TV and balcony! The whole hostel was nicely decorated, giving it good charm, all the walls painted according to different themes, it was a well ran and well looked after hostel!

Disliked: Front door left open all the time, but a safe seeming area, and the caretaker seemed to sleep behind reception anyway!! (hostel was open 24/7)

Liked: Loved our stay here, sweet hostel. Such friendly staff - travelled for 2 months and don't think in that time we found a Hostel that felt as homely as this one.

Liked: The staff were really helpful, you could always find someone around the place to ask a question. Location was easy enough to get to the centre and bus station. Also terrace was nice to sit outside.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Everything. In fact we got a no charge upgrade to a private room. There are computers and the owners are very nice offering even meals to us for no charge but there are many grocery stores if that does not suit your palate. The place is very clean and there are many interesting people to meet (not creepy)

Disliked: It is a bit of a distance from the city centre but it is really well connected by streetcars that run very late.

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff. Aircon/fans throughout the hostel- it was so hot when we were there! Good for transport connections- the tram is nearby and really helpful for central Zagreb.

Disliked: Not in central Zagreb, but good transport connections.

Liked: It was afforable, and the staff was absoultely friendly. In one incident, one of them gave me accidentally incomplete information, and immediately ran to my room to update me.

Disliked: It was not very accessible from the city centre, and I noted that there was some vomit in one of the showers for one night. The lack of room keys also made me uncomfortable, but I didn't lose anything in my stay.

Disliked: if weather is hot don t stay at third floor ,it burns like hell!!!

Liked: This hostel was really nice, the owner was very welcoming. He explained everything very well. The best part about the stay was it was really clean! The kitchen is available to use, there are dvd's that you can watch, each level is air conditioned, and the backyard was awesome, tables, shade and it was really cool!

Disliked: It was a bit far from city center and the main bus station. But there are trams that take about 20 minutes to get into the main city.

Disliked: We were given wrong information about the trams and how long they take.. this resulted in us missing our bus to Slovenia.. we then had to pay alot more to get there by train. Quite disappointing

Liked: The staff were definitely some of the friendliest of any hostel I've been to. Very laid back and good people. They were willing to work around my traveling problems multiple times and found ways to help accommodate me. The WiFi's fast and is attainable nearly anywhere on the property. Cool little backyard to chill out in. The lockers are spacious and secure.

Disliked: It's not WAY out of the center of town, but it would have been nicer to be closer, as it's at the last stop of the tram routes and you still have to walk a few hundred meters to get to it. The first room I was in (had to book an extra night after missing my train) had 3 beds and 3 lockers, the second had 6 beds and 1 locker.

Liked: The facilities were good and it was good that there were so many bathrooms that usually some of them were free at a time.

Disliked: You have to walk along the corridors when you are going to shower etc. so tou shoud definitely have some kind of sandals or something as others are walking with their normal shoes along the same corridors.

Liked: We had a private room which was small but comfy, with a balcony but no private shower. The shared showers might get busy, but it's ok if you're not in a hurry. Reception guy was extremely friendly and helped us with all our requests. The connection with the city center seems to be very simple, but we had our own car, which was no problem to park .

Liked: Very well decorated and a generally nice place to be. Showers and toilets were clean and always free when needed. Nice touch having dvds available to watch. Easily reachable by tram.

Disliked: Quite expensive for the location.

Liked: It was in a quiet and lovely location, just a few tram stops away from the centre. The staff were all friendly and very helpful and pointed out some great places to visit. All in all, it was a great hostel to stay in!

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Very nice, authentic, old croatian house. Though perhaps to far to walk, good descriptions for the tram. Very helpful staff.

Disliked: The double room had two separate beds.
