Disliked: We booked this hostel and when we arrived there the owner said that they aren't working with this web, and we have to look for a new apartment. Was public holiday there and the city was so full... the experience was really bad.

Liked: The property is very center. The room is clean.

Disliked: They want extra payment for the first photo that you see in the website.they gave us another room for the price that we know, and the room was ok. The lady wanted the payment at the time of check in, I recommend you to see the room first.

Liked: Close to City Centre either by foot or tram. Please note there are two properties, the main one is walking distance to the City Centre and the 2nd property is only two tram stops to the City Centre.

Liked: This really was an apartment more than a hostel. The room was huge with a kitchen/dining area, sofas and a double bed. It was comfortable and as clean as can be expected plus the TV had a few english channels. The reception was fine though when we went at the end of August the pub/cafe was closed all day and the entrance was down a dark alleyway which wasn't easy to find with our late night arrival. I would recommend this hostel.

Liked: First-rate location, in quiet courtyard; room spacious, modern, clean, good mattress. Svjezdana (staffer) and Katerina (host) are welcoming, responsive, and informative. Svjezdana suggested an excellent, reasonable restaurant; hosts arranged convenient airport transfer.

Liked: The property was very well located, about 5-10 minutes walk from main part of town with all the shops and bars, and very near to a tram stop which made getting to and from very easy.The rooms both times I stayed had fridges and televisions which was great as not many places seem to offer this. The rooms were also very spacious, particularly the first night.The only real downside was the noise from the bar from quite early in the morning as they are setting up. I would also suggest contacting them by phone rather than email if you have any questions as mine were not answered.

Liked: Beautiful hostel, with a beatiful inner yard full of tree's and birds and a very cozy café with cold (cheap) beer. The staff was excellent; a very young kid, he spoke fluently english and was very helpful, and a few very nice ladies who were very kind. The rooms were beatiful as well, exspecially when you think of the price you had to pay.

Liked: The good location and the cleanliness of the private room. I did not like however the bad technical condition of the bathroom equipment. I asked the responsible persons to have a look at this defects and asked for repair ...for the next guests.

Liked: Henrik Apartments are modern, clean, and confortable. However, they are located in a diferent place that the one stated in the hostel website, a few blocks away from the hostel's reception and from the center. The apartment is shared with other people and a little bit noisy (maybe due to the thin walls). A little far away from Zagreb's center, but possible to walk.
