Liked: The staff was friendly and helpful, very responsive to e-mail. It was very clean, though the lockers were a bit small and wouldn't have fit my carry-on sized bag. I was only staying for the night so it didn't matter to me, but might to someone staying longer. The shared bathroom was clean and looked up to date. Big plus, a really great and inexpensive restaurant right next to it, Restaurant Nocturno. Hostel is well-located, steps away from St. Catherine's Cathedral, the main tram stop, and about a 15 minute walk from the main railway station. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Zagreb.

Liked: the set up of this place is a bit unconventional but once you get over that its a fine place to stay.

Liked: location is perfect for a city-trip. Restaurants and bars around the corner. Fairly priced except that the deposit you pay is the commission to Hostelbookers. Total price in the hostel is 10% lower
