Liked: The staff went above and beyond to offer any help during my stay - they were truly wonderful hosts. The location can't be beat - right off the main square, walking distance to the train station and all the sights. It was really easy to find as well - overall a really great hostel.

Disliked: There was a problem with overbooking when I arrived, so my first night was spent in the private room across from the reception desk, rather than in the dorm that I had booked. As mentioned in other reviews, it was extremely loud - I had to sleep with ear plugs. It was also incredibly hot - the girl at the reception said that when the air conditioning was on, it got too cold.

Liked: Full kitchen and nice common room, great location.

Disliked: There was a mix-up with lockers, so I had to store my bags outside the room for my stay

Liked: The staff were really lovely and helpful. There was a kitchen to use as much as you wanted. The showers were really powerful! It was a great place to meet other travellers and there was an amazing resturant right outside which did great food.

Disliked: The internet was a bit slow, but I can't really complain as it was free! Other than that, nothing!

Liked: The room was nice and the hostel clean. Free WiFi was a nice bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent Location and nice restaurant outside.

Disliked: There was only one bathroom. The Shower and toilet needed to be seperate. Very Noisy. The staff were extremly noisy throughout the night - It was only quiet enough to sleep between 3-5am

Liked: Good hostel with some minor negative points. Location was perfectly central with a nice restaurant downstairs on a bustling street.Cheap washing.Good sized common room.

Disliked: It says its a new hostel but the beds were well worn with springs in your back. Quite a noisy street below the bedrooms. Shower head was broken.

Liked: Location was perfect and the restaurant next to the hostel was great. One girl in the reception was very friendly, helpful and also funny & great person, gave me good tips for shopping etc. Free tea was cool, and free wifi also. Internet worked well in my own room (with my computer). The room was clean and there was a mirrow and a sink, which was great.

Disliked: The single room was next to the reception, so it was impossible to sleep before 11.00 pm, ´cause the radio was on and the walls were like papers. Also some smoke of tobacco came to my room from the door way, where the staff was smoking (even when my door was closed)!

Liked: Excellently located with clean, charming rooms. The free internet, kitchen facilities, small but comfy hang-out area and really good value and tasty restaurant make this hostel a great place to stay.

Disliked: There is no secure luggage room but guests can leave their luggage in the common room.

Liked: Nocturno is a great place from which to explore Zagreb, not the most happening city in the world, but really nice. It's right in the town centre, and the free trams in the town centre mean it's 20 mins from the Station. The dorms are a little crowded, but everything is clean and bright. The common room is very good, got a T.V. and everything you need to cook for yourself.. and fresh food in Croatia is excellent and cheap. But the best thing about the place are the staff who could not be friendlier or more helpful (or speak more languages!)

Disliked: Unfortunately, we had some issues with this place. The rooms are very cramped; they put as many beds as possible in every room. Also, we paid for laundry service and a piece of our clothing wasn't returned. Lastly; when we went to check out there was no one available and we were on a tight schedule. As such, we weren't given our deposit back for our locker.
