Liked: Very spacious and clean bedrooms.

Disliked: No staff around unless you phoned them.

Liked: Marko was very friendly and helpful, he made sure we were well informed and he had made an effort to ensure people could find the hostel.

Disliked: There was no real facilities available, however, our room was very cheap so for us it was fine because we were only passing through Zagreb. The light fittings were hanging off the wall, and the beds were not great but other than that no real complaints....we can't really blame the hostel for the people next door utilising the very very squeeky beds.

Liked: The Hostel is incredibly easy to find and super easily accessible to the tram. Having been to Zagreb a couple of times, you will not find a better deal with as easily accessible a location (follow the yellow feet), right near the tram 6, which makes it incredibly easy to get to the city center and bus station. The rooms and beds were incredibly clean. The beer garden looked really cool, but was under renovation, while we were there (off season) so we didn't get to check it out. The staff were really friendly and are willing to help if you have any further questions. We definitely will stay here the next time we go to Zagreb in a few months!

Disliked: There wasn't really anything that we disliked about the place. They were doing renovations, so the beer garden was closed and the WC on our floor was being redone, but honestly, you have to do renovation sometime and late fall in the off season is the time. We will be back to check out the beer garden etc.

Liked: Rooms were totally ok. It was very clean. Nice staff. Plus i like that it was cameras all over the place and security guard for our safeness.

Disliked: Bathrooms are pretty small, and there were no any shelve or hanger.

Liked: Quiet place, bathroom's shared but very clean.

Disliked: Distance from the center, but with the tram you get to the hostel in few minutes (follow the yellow feetspaintinted on the ground). No Restaurant near, the rooms are small.

Liked: I liked that it was off the main road yet close to the bus terminal. The staff were really friendly and helpfull.

Liked: Very easy to find following the yellow footsteps on the ground. Felt very secure with a lock on the front gate and on dorm doors. Generally very clean.

Disliked: There are signs in the hostel offering a reduced price stay if you post good reviews about them - so I would be wary of some of the reviews on here. I understand they're trying to make money and keep the noise down at night but the numerous rules means it's not a very relaxed place to stay. The common room is only open during the day, and you get told off for talking at night.

Liked: Very easy to find with the tram from the main strain station (thank you for the yellow feet on the pavement!) and just a 5- 10 minute walk to the main bus station. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area and its attractions, as well as Plitvice Park.

Disliked: I only stayed for one night as a stopping point in mid-travel, so I really had no thorough experience of the place, but I had no real problems. In regardl to the website, the hostel did not mention the 100 Kuna key deposit upon check-in, but thankfully I had enough money when I arrived.

Liked: 20 minutes walk from the bus station, 40 minutes from the train station. A security guard is employed on site, with accompanying dog. That's it. Zagreb is a beautiful city, very cheap & surely a well-kept secret yet to be ruined by tourists.

Disliked: Oh dear. I'm not surprised at all the negative comments; there are so many notices, rules & regulations plastered all over the place, really not conducive to a relaxed atmosphere. Towels are chargeable extras. You are presented on arrival with your bed linen, to make your bed. You are obliged to provide a deposit for the room. You cannot drink alcohol in your room, but must use the area at the rear of the property & even then you must buy your refreshments from the Reception bar. One of the toilets was out of order & the bathrooms had a really unpleasant damp odour due to a total lack of adequate ventilation. One of the bathrooms' lighting was nothing more than a spotlight plugged into a 2-pin socket, the original lighting was not working, but was still in-situ; remember, this is a bathroom!

Liked: I found the hosts welcoming and friendly, not sure why there are so many bad reviews. It's close to the train and bus stations and a 20 minute walk into the centre and close to trams and bars and take aways. Breakfast seemed pretty good for the money.

Disliked: It's a bit tatty just could do with the odd lamp shade and tidying up the wires you almost tripped over to get into our room. And you have to make your own bed, OK it's not the worst thing ever but just drops it down compared to some other hostels.

Liked: its cheep. and it is easy to find. apart from that....

Disliked: the 10 pm curfew is inforced rely hard, i was told off for talking in my room by the "security" guard. a strange guy in a uniform that lookes like a police uniform, who, if im honest is the kind of guy that i would like security to keep out. the dorm was small and cramped and the lights in the bathroom didnt work propperly. when i left the owner said (and i assume he says this to eveyone) that if you leve 90 - 100% feedback then you get 30% dicount off your next stay, or for a friend. so i assume that all positive feedback is falce. its ok for one night if you arrive late and check out early.

Liked: It was available at short notice. Once we had rung up and explained we were going to be arriving late there was a member of staff to let us in.

Disliked: bathrooms not as clean as they could be. Cost more than advertised due to tourism tax. Too tired to argue at 1am

Liked: The staff was awesome, very friendly and helpful. Nice people could common area to meet with people (could be open a bit longer) but overall still not to big and very personal!

Liked: The friendliness of the owner

Disliked: The dorms are very small, and you need to go through another bedrooms to get to the bathroom. The showers are shared and the bathromms is not very well maintained... (Shower and toilet cover broken)
