Liked: Friendly, helpful staff, clean bathrooms, always soap, paper towels etc., great location, walking distance from train and bus stations and the city centre, but still in a quiet local nieghbourhood. Cheep drinks, two common areas (outside and in) free internet, great place to meet people but also to get good nights sleep as it's quiet after ten thirty.

Disliked: no problems really

Liked: Michael and his staff were really friendly and helpful. It is really easy to get into town on the tram, and close to the bus station.

Disliked: It was really noisy, take ear plugs if you like to sleep!

Disliked: No place to leave the backpaks or suitcases. No towels included. No breakfast included

Liked: The location, at least close to a tram stop. The toilettes weren't that bad.

Disliked: It wasn´t that clean, the rooms where to small, there was not even oxigen...

Liked: It was cheap and well located to local tram system and main bus station for the airport.

Disliked: The communal areas all closed at 10.30pm. The hostel explains that this is to allow people to sleep and stop noise to the locals but these are seperate from the rooms and the noise from the surrounding places were louding than in the hostel.

Liked: Great hostel, big garden area, perfect location, quiet after 11pm, free internet- loved it, owner is a great person, friendly to everyone, city maps are free- amazing, for sure we are coming back again

Liked: Great atmosphere,the hostel gets everyone together at night in the beer garden so you get to meet and talk to everyone thats staying there,lots of fun!

Liked: it was cheap and a decent location

Disliked: quite hours and closing all the common areas at 10:30, so if you dont want to go to bed you ahve to pay to site at a bar or cafe and zagreb apparently goes to bed as a city at midnight. It was very annoying to close both common areas. also the staff were annoying. it was very difficult to feel comfertable here

Liked: Choosing this hostel was my best move on this trip, good beds, many bathrooms and so clean, hot water 24 hours, cheap drinks and BBQ, loved it and Im coming back again

Liked: I had a great time, people working there are so friendly and helpful despite so much work and so many people staying, you can tell they love their job. The hostel is amazing clean, so many bathrooms, and you even have soap for washing hands and paper towels- wow, haven't seen that anywhere and i stayed in many hostels over Europe, BBQ in the evening and promoting Croatian drinks- cheap and excellent. Highly recommended- great work guys!

Liked: Cleanliness and state of the bathrooms was more than satisfactory. The stuff's kindness and fluent English made us feel pleasent.

Liked: Meals/drink available to buy at the hostel at reasonable prices, and a nice beer garden and common room for meeting people. This area closes at 10.30pm due to neighbours but the hostel isn't far from the centre of town and the staff are happy to tell you where the good nightlife is. The staff are very willing to help with whatever questions and problems you have (in my case, I had a freshly broken jaw from Serbia and needed some ice and the location of the nearest hospital...). Would love to come back.

Liked: I had an amazing stay at hostel Lika! Croatia is really great and the friendliness, the hospitality and the helpfulness of the staff make my stay in Croatia an enjoyable one. The hostel is unbelievably clean. I love their idea to draw that foot-path in guiding you to find the hostel once you got off from the tram. It is very nice and creative for the staff to design the interior of the hostel in such a lovely way, the drawings and the decoration of the hostel are fabulous!

Liked: good people staying there.

Disliked: lots of hidden costs for things like washing machines. air conditioning was turned off although it was boiling hot in the rooms. hostel is way too hyped up for what it is.

Liked: The location was unarguably good - close to the bus and train station and the staff generally seemed quite friendly

Disliked: Hostel Lika lika to make lots of rules. Internet? 10 minutes at a time. Outside food and drink? No no no. Water? Pay for it. Tea and coffee? Pay for it. Room was cramped - far too small for 3 sets of bunkbeds and a big set of lockers - which made it unbearably hot. Bathrooms werent so clean and the size of the hostel made it difficult to meet people. Still, it was cheap and you get what you pay for.

Liked: Very cheap. One of the staff members was very friendly, the other one, not at all.

Disliked: Dirty, smelly, no services, common room closes at 10 p.m. Not allowed food nor drinks inside. Response to negative comments from travellers seemed agressive (at the front desk)

Liked: The BBQ's were really good

Disliked: There are lots of rather critical and accusing signs to their guests which put a negative spin on your stay. You also have to pay for everything extra and not allowed to drink or eat anything that is your own, you have to buy everything from them.

Liked: It was our second stay at this hostel and we were looking forward to come back and enjoy our last night in Croatia with a beer and a chat with the superfriendly owner of the hostel and the other backpackers. The hostel is great value for money and the owner and staff are very concerned about your well-being and make sure that you can either get a good sleep in a quiet room, or find your way to local clubs/parks etc. There is a BBQ every (?) evening which is a great way to meet people.
