English speaking family run hostel,city center,5 minutes on foot away from Bus Station and 15 from the Train Station, specialized for National Park Plitvice Lakes,join us- there is a bed for everyone.

We are Marko, Ilona and Leon, your hosts. Marko was born in Lika, the area of the National Park Plitvice Lakes, the most famous highlight of Croatia, and can give you all inside tips about the place, Ilona is from the coast, island Rab, and baby Leon is our mix, born in Zagreb. To meet new people and cultures, we have decided to open family run hostel where everyone is welcome and to offer something for everyone.
Rooms- new colour, common areas- completely redesigned by young artists of expressionism, bathrooms modern, high hygienic standard.
We offer something for everyone- you can have cheap breakfast, enjoy lazy afternoons, join us on low cost Croatian BBQ and drinks in our beer garden or simply relax in cosy common room and meet other travelers. Parking is free in front of the hostel on the street.
If you are planing a trip to National Park Plitvice Lakes, you can book a tour in the hostel and after long walking around the park, as refreshment we will take you for a swim as we know the place where is allowed.
And you are now wondering why is our rate bad, right?
We have some basic rules, same for all. Most important is respect everybody, we are nice to all of you, but if you disrespect others and us,we would prefer if you wouldnt stay, we will not charge you or hold it against you.
Check in is at 2pm- not possible earlier
Check out is till 10am- not possible later
Reception working hours: 0-24 till end of August.
Payment up front in Croatian kuna, tourist tax7,00 kuna per person per night extra on the price/ballance.
Key deposit is 100 kuna or 10 euro.
If you are late and not informing us we keep you the beds for 5 hours and than we sell it.
We dont have luggage storage, so before check in and after check out, you can store it at the bus or train station, and no kitchen facilities.
Internet is free of charge, only WIFI,we dont provide computers.

Location Information

CIty centar, next to main travel points- 5 min away on foot to Bus Station, 15 min to Train Station and 20 min to down town, excellent tram connections, direct tram lines 24h/day passing all those main points and to all parts of town, local and quite neighborhood, lower prices than down town.
Around the hostel you can find all you need- bakeries, supermarkets, pharmacy, fast food restaurants, coffee bars, cash machines, money exchange...
For hot summer days we recommend a lake close by, Bundek, free entrance, excellent refreshment.
For quiet Sunday mornings we recommend a flea market, Jakusevac, also close by, you can see and buy the least expected.
And still, we are located next to a highway, very easy to access.
