kevin finnGreat place to stay in the heart of Zagreb. Staff were very helpful and always very friendly. always ready to offer advice and show you the ins and outs of zagreb. Kitchen was small, but satisfactory. Free internet and wireless. Cable TV, awsome heaters in cold months. One night free crepes! water in shower could be hotter, but second shower available inside. individual lockers for everyone a plus. very safe and secure dorms. PERFECT LOCATION! |

Customer reviewExcellent hostel. Only stayed one night but staff were friendly and helpful, comfy bed, great shower. Common room was good - tea coffee, internet, tv. Went out for dinner with a bunch of people staying there so very social. Great stay, Thankyou |

Customer reviewGreat location but not much else to recommend this hostel. You can pay extra to stay in a small dorm but other people have to walk through it to get to another dorm so what is the point? Kitchen area is small and dirty, although the rest of the hostel is pretty clean. Not much atmosphere. Staff tried to be helpful but they didn't know things like where to change money. It was okay but I'd try somewhere else next time. |

Brendan VierkI learned of this hostel as a recommendation from a Croatia friend. The location cannot frankly be much better given the rapid access to the two parallel streets where Zagreb's cafe culture comes to vivid life every evening as well as the heart of the old city and an inexpensive internet cafe. Also, one can easily grab a truly tasty slice of pizza and a pastry at the shop located between the newsstands on the opposite side of the main square where the trams stop. I enjoyed the owner's friendly disposition and his intent on making the nice bar downstairs his welcome center/'office'. I stayed in the dorm room at the end of the hall just beyond the actual office. I do recall another traveler traveler stating that our bathroom was nicer than the one in this dorm room. I never hesitated to leave valuables at the hostel given the presence of lockers and the apparent soundness of the door locks. Happy travels, Brendan Milwaukee, Wisconsin |

Customer reviewGood location (central to the city) and the late check out at 11.30 and friendly attitude to leaving bags was great. Main criticisms were that for the price, we'd stayed in much smaller, cleaner and more pleasant dorms all over the Balkans (including the rather faceless but neater Omladinski hostel near the station). |

Customer reviewThe location was brilliant - so close to everything. The staff were really friendly. Although there was no breakfast provided, there was a really nice (cheap!) bakery across the street, and there was a kitchen area with a fridge that you could use to store your own food in, so this wasn't a problem. It did get quite noisy at night, and the rooms were also really warm. But all in all, we enjoyed our stay, and I would stay here again if I returned to Zagreb. |
