Liked: Fulir was an exceptional experience. It is a bit crazy going through the rooms to get to other rooms, but its really not a problem. Staff was very helpful and chill, especially the bigger dude that worked there. Met some amazing people, had a few beers on the house, and really just enjoyed this exceptionally located hostel. Good experience all in all.

Disliked: Bed's were a bit uncomfortable. Everything was great though.

Liked: easy to find, quiet and clean, though there's no breakfast but close to a small supermarket and the kitchen is great. Extraordinary atmosphere to make friends, and the staff was the most helpful and friendly one I've ever met

Liked: Really near the city center and the main tourist attractions and enough near the bus- and train station. Friendly and helpful stuff, big lockers were you could have even quite big backpacks/bags, a good place to meet people.

Disliked: Just above a bar and quite responsive, so can be some noise. The dorm I lived in had the door straight to the yard and sometimes it felt that the door wasn't completely closed when people went out. Only one toilet with shower for 10 persons. There is a second bathroom that you can use, but it is for all at the hostel...

Liked: Hostel staff were lovely and played cards with us. Place to cook. Ace place to meet people, really sociable, even though it was low-season. Good sized rooms.

Liked: The Staff at Fulir are great. They can point out all the best shops, restaurants, and sites for you to see on your map! Sandra and Bella are super cool camera nerds. We had fun drinking beer and chatting. Great location too as its right off the main square. Washrooms and living area were clean and the computers were fast. This was the second time I've stayed at this hostel and both times were awesome. Very good value for your money.

Liked: I stayed at Fulir hostel for three days. The staff, Sandra, Bella, and the owner Leo were really great to be around, very friendly, very helpful. The common room and kitchen are both nice and I found it very easy to meet other travellers. It's right in the middle of town and only fifteen minutes walk from the railway station. As always, the people who stay at the same time as yourself can make or break the experience but that's pot luck and nothing to do with the Hostel. I was really lucky with the people I met. I had lots of laughs and good company and I don't even drink alchohol.

Disliked: To be honest there was nothing to dislike. There were three showers, the water was hot, the place was clean and it had lots of character. If I go to Zagreb again I will definitely stay there. One thing I think could be a problem during the busier periods of the year is that there are no staff on the premises after 11pm. No problem when I was there because people were considerate but I think that if there were soem noisy people staying up all night they could ruin it for everybody. Also, if a girl is staying in a dorm with a guy she doesn't know it might make her feel better to know that there are staff around, Happy travelling. KK

Liked: Good location, staff were helpful and recommended us a great place to eat. Great, well-equipped kitchen and chill out area - it's a good place to meet people. Liked the free food shelves!

Disliked: Could do with another bathroom, and the shower head holder was broken so you had to stand holding the shower head. Closing up the lounge area and kitchen at 11 is really unnecessary - and it also forces people into the dorms which makes it noisy for people who want to sleep. Overall it is a great hostel though - I'd definitly stay there again.
