Liked: We stayed in another building up the road from the main villa. It was spotless, nicely decorated and a great terrace. The owner of this separate building - Veronica- was very helpful and friendly.

Disliked: We had chosen the villa for the view of the sea and the fact that it was one minute from the bus stop and shops. However on arrival we found out we had been moved to a different house, up the hill. Also I had specifically requested twin beds in one of the rooms but we still received double beds only. Breakfast down at Villa Triana's itself at 10 euro per person was a rip off. We were even asked to clear away our dirty dishes afterwards.

Liked: This is an ok place to stay, the rooms are clean and it's handy for Public transport to other places. There're a couple of shop's nearbye which sells most of the things you need. I couldn't fault the people who run the place, they were excellant and there's nothing they wouldn't do for you. All in all it's an alright place, it's just not for us.

Disliked: It's actually quite hard to rate this type of property, it really depends on what you are looking for and expect. We heard before we went it was right on the "BEACH", well it's not actually a beach (well not as I had imagined) and there isn't a sandy beach for miles. In fact I find it hard to discribe the seafront, only that it is possible to go swimming and the water's good but don't dare go in with bare feet. The beach is in fact concrete with gravel patches where people fight to get a place to put their towels and relax. It's extraordinary, and might suit a lot of people. If you're not particular by all means go and try it, but it's not for us, we were very disappointed. The mosquito population is massive and they're very hungry, day and night, for the 6 days we were there we got chewed badly, my wifes legs are a mess with bites and no matter what we tried, (and every pharmacy has something to sell that's better than the last one), we couldn't keep them at bay. We went self-catering thinking we could relax on the veranda at night and do our own meals, the facilities for cooking are not up to scratch and we found ourselves eating out most nights, not what we wanted. I would have to try a different part of Croatia to go back.

Liked: The airport pick up was perfect. Arrived on time and brought us straight there for a very reasonable rate.

Disliked: We were placed in the additional accomodation up the hill. The lady in charge was very unhelpful and spoke little english. We arrived at 10pm as our flight was delayed and she insisted we were "quiet as mice" even though it was only 10pm. We then asked where we could get some food and her response was that we were not allowed out that it was bed time. Thank god we were only there for one night!

Liked: good value for money, in a nice area called Diklo with beach/bars/restaurants/supermarket. Next to the beach. Cheap Taxi/walk into town. Very useful staff. Apartment had hand soap, washing up liqiud, toilet roll and towels which was very useful.

Disliked: Unable to make noise after 11, although beach bars are nearby so you can go there if it's late.
