Liked: Right in the middle of old town

Disliked: Very loud on the streets outside throughout the night, reception not 24hrs

Liked: "Old Town" is in the best possible location and is the cleanest hostel i've ever seen. Most of all, the staff is awesome! Very helpful, considerate.......and will take you to the cheapest beer :)

Disliked: If there had to be a down side to this hostel......the only thing i could think of would be all the stairs up to its 3rd floor reception......but its Europe, there are stairs everywhere!

Disliked: My friends and I wanted to check out early in the morning to catch a bus to Split, and nobody from the staff was around to check us out.

Liked: Su localización, céntrica.

Disliked: Había que subir varios pisos hasta llegar al hostal. Los cuartos de baño siempre estaban húmedos e internet funcionaba de vez en cuando.

Liked: The owner and the staff are very nice, very helpfull!!!! It's a real hostel with dorms and common kitchen, the best place to stay in the town center because of the location (it's near from everything) but also the best place to meet people...It was a pleasure to stay there....P and S from belgium!

Liked: Friendly staff and in excellent location right in the centre of the town.

Disliked: It was very noisy at night/early morning with people coming back/leaving the hostel.

Liked: If you're staying in old town Zadar and don't have a ton of money with you this is your best (as in only) choice. A nice hostel, renovated and very clean. Very helpful staff and a great location. They were working on adding even more amenities during our stay.

Liked: this place is very nice! great location, staff sooo nice and helpful. there's free internet (but no wifi). free washing machine, kitchen, lockers... !i was a bit mad when they ask me to switch room to let a group be together. when i got to the new room, there were no more locker for me (4 lockers for 8 beds). well, this stuff happened! great place. far from the bus station (DON'T WALK!). take a city bus (8 kuna) or a cab (20kuna).just so you know, this hostel is located at the 4th floor of a building!

Liked: While location was very central, it was very difficult to find, not sign posted or marked clearly, taxi can't drop you outside and locals didn't seem to know where it was. I walked past the building a number of times and didn't notice it. This would be difficult for travellers new to Zadar.Accommodation was very basic, and a broken washing machine was in our room. Bathrooms were clean. It was very cold at night and only had a sheet to cover us, no blankets. Also very noisy in the morning because located beside a loud town clock!

Liked: very friendly staff - had a great time there and made some good friends, yes the hostel is up a few flights of stairs but SO WHAT. Would definetely stay again if in Zadar as location was perfect. The facilities are fine but nothing special however the place is clean and felt safe

Liked: Friendly place, the kitchen in the hall is good to chill out and meet people. Location is excellent, just near the main square Narodni Trg in the old town, even the price is totally affordable. Only the services and the equipment was not so satisfying: very little furniture in the rooms/toilet (don't forget your towels!!). Anyway I would recommend it to riders for a couple of nights :)

Liked: - Hostel didn't answer our emails (twice) and overbooked our (paid)reserved room: their answer was that if they do not reply an email, reservation from their side is not confirmed ?!? ( very strange...! )- But they gave us back our room, because the other guest arrived that night. Don't know what he got offered ?- For the rest: very friendly and helpfull staff. - Hostel is unsuitable for old and for more or less handicapped people. (Stairs, stairs.......and more stairs)

Liked: Owner was super cool and very accomodating. Even had his buddy hook up some transportation for the same price as a bus. Ask him about it. I definately reccomend.

Liked: this hostel is situated right in the heart of the old town with walking distances from bars, beaches and other main attractions. Having said that, it's not within a noisy area and I would definitely recommend it to everyone visiting the beautiful un-spoilt Zadar!!!

Liked: make sure you email or call to let the owner know when you are arriving because he is not always here. at the time of our stay he was expanding the hostel to the floor below, this could have been why he was away. he is great and the hostel is awesome.
