Liked: It was OK

Disliked: It was a very basic accommodation - reasonably clean - a long way from Town centre. Owner wasn't around much so not much information available. Lovely bakery just up road and very handy for the Airport Bus - 10 mins - 12Kunas. We enjoyed our stay but as it was our last couple of nights in Croatia, would have preferred a little more luxuary !!!!!!!!

Liked: We loved our hostess and the warm welcome we received. The flat was great, and the location couldnt be better. We did unfortunately find Trogir a little expensive and touristy but luckily, only had one night there. Our hostess recommended an excellent restaurant for us and she and the flat were simply the best thing in Trogir. We walked to Okrug beach but I would not recommend going there (a bit of a let down with an ugly view of the cargo port) but the old town is sweet and a good stop over for our tour of Croatia.

Liked: It was really handy to the beach, bakery and supermarket. It was great to have a washing machine to use and an area to hang clothes. Location wise it is out of Trogir old town so it was great to be in amongst the locals. Would stay there again.

Liked: The landlady couldn't have been more welcoming, helpful and hospitable allowing us to dump our cases early and leave them secure after check out and advising the best places to go .

Liked: Very good location, 5 min from the centre, but very quiet.Very clean, nice big rooms, washing machine and fridge to share, good air-conditioning. Very nice, kind hostess with great knowledge of local area: very very kind and helpful family. We learned a lot about Croatia by their help. Beautiful city with many possibilities for excursions, good transport possibilities. Nice beaches. We wil definitely come again to Guesthouse Tonio and Trogir again. It has become our favorite location for holidays.

Liked: Dear Travellers, I recommend you to choose Guesthouse Tonio in Trogir! We had a great time! Location is very nice, few minutes walk from the noisy city center, but also close to the nightlife of the port. The staff is really kind, helpful, any info you need they can help! Also rooms are beautifully clean, atmosphare is really nice!!!!!! Thank you again for the great time, see you soon again!:):):)

Liked: Directions were terrible, but a quick call to the owner and she came down to pick us up. A really lovely laidback owner, who offered us some lemonade and coffee upon arrival. Very comfortable beds and pretty cheap.... The only downside is that the "beach" that's described is more of a concrete dock for boats, and the nearest actual beach (a long pebble one) is a 20-30 walk.. There is also a bus that runs, and a boat so it isn't a huge problem, we were just a little suprised. But a lovely little guesthouse none the less.

Liked: the room was good...apart from checking in i didint see another soul in two days....and the walking route instructions are very ambiguous....follow the driving instructions instead.

Liked: We stayed in double with priv b/room in July 2009. Room is decent size and clean. Owner/managers were friendly and willing to help. Location is a little out of the action but not too far away to cause any real issue. Whilst it is nicer to stay in old town, you get what you pay for in terms of location. Only real issue was directions to find guesthouse were unclear and it took some frustrating searching before some locals helped discover it (not signed). Satellite TV receiver was broken. Overall not great but decent value for price.

Liked: Trogir in summer is a lively place so Tonio was an ideal option - just 10 minutes walk from the centre but in a quiet residential neighbourhood. We had a clean self-contained studio room with cooking facilities (all worked), dining table and large bathroom. Friendly owner who left us to our own devices. Would happily recommend

Liked: The staff is a lovely couple, very keen to talk and communicate with the guests. Both are fluent in english and we had a great time chating with them on the terrasse, over a coffee or a tea, which were very kindly and spontaneously offered. The fact that a washing machine was free to use was very helpful.Highly recommended.
