Liked: Good to have private space.

Disliked: Really bad security. We were broken into and had our cash stolen. We woke up with a man in our bedroom. It was the most terrifying travelling experience I have ever had!!

Liked: The room itself was relatively clean and all the major parts of the room(floor, walls windows, bed, shower) were in good condition. The room had a terrace, where the temperature was cooler in the evenings than in the room. The owner lived upstairs, speaked decent English and was generally very friendly.

Disliked: the hot water in the shower lasted for about 5mins (and they I had to wait for like 30 mins to get enough of it heated again). The shower was not clean when I checked in (there was pubic hair in it), the smell of a hand soap was so chemical it made me noseous. The bed did not have any bedlinen. As for the location, it was only about 10 minutes walk to a city beach, however, a good 30 minutes walk to the center of Split (old town), and the only bus was running only a few times a day (I've seen no more than 3 buses during 2,5 days of my stay there).

Liked: Really enjoyed my stay at Rooms Nevenka in Split. I had a shared apartment with only one other person staying there which was great as i had loads of space to myself. Apartment was very big with lots of room. It had a big kitchen with a dining area and plenty of space. Bathroom was very good aswell as the big bedrooms. Also has a balcony where you can chill out. It was situated in a really good area with easy access to public transport, shops and supermarket. It was a 10 to 15 minute walk to the main Harbour area and even less to Bacvic beach.The hospitality was excellent from my host Nena, who would do everything to make me feel welcome. She invited me to the apartment next door where she lived for some food and was always asking if i needed anything. Great!!Would definately return to Rooms Nevenka and recommend it to anyone. Cheap, clean, plenty of space, everything is located well and fantastic hospitality.

Liked: First thing I notice is that everything,starting with room and bathroom till kitchen is very clean.Furniture is new and well decorated and rooms large and bright,full of light.The lady of the house was very kind and helpful providing me with lots of useful information.All together very professional and charming,one of the best hostels I have been.

Liked: This wasn't actually a hostel but a woman who rents rooms in other people's apartments and puts backpackers in there. As an apartment it was lovely, the woman we stayed with was nice, it was clean and safe, it just wasn't what we were expecting.

Liked: it's a good place to sleep, clean with a nice bathroom. Friendly staff. But it is not a hostel where you can hang around and meet people.

Liked: The bathroom is shared with the owner but has no shower curtain and you have to hold the shower head unless you happen to be 2 feet tall. The wardrobe in the room contained the owner's clothes which made you feel even more like you were a house guest.
