Liked: Very friendly owners, catered for all our needs! Very good location, 5 mins walk from seafront and old town. Good air-conditioning.

Disliked: The fact that I had to write something in this box!

Liked: I stayed in the so-called Kiss Hostel. The location is quite good, not too far away from the bus and train station and very close to the old city. There was a big kitchen. Two bathrooms, a TV in the kitchen and in the dorm. The owner was very friendly and provided me with a city map and informations what to do in Split. But she isn't in the hostel usually. The 4 bed dorm I stayed in wasn't air-conditioned, but I anyway prefer that.

Disliked: There was no PC in the hostel to check things in the Internet. Till late night (24:00) and from early morning (5:00) it can get quite noisy from the street traffic outside.

Liked: The only good thing was two local girls that worked there and recommended restaurants, but it is also mean of whoever owns this place because if you complain they just say, "sorry, it is not our fault."

Disliked: I've stayed at a lot of hostels, but never a place as bad as this one! Stay away! They basically took a big flat and threw bunk beds in it. We also had a double air mattress in our room that a couple slept on and it deflated throughout the night. They paid 40 euros for it too!

Liked: The place was quite clean. Good location

Disliked: No reception. No staff to help you. No internet access. No luggage room. 10 am is check out and they literally throw you and all of your stuff out of the hostel at that time. Very rude staff, terrible place.

Disliked: no atmosphere, dirty bathroom, no washbasins in the bathroom nor in the room!

Liked: the lady who ran the hostels most dayd couldnt do enough to help us, she was lovely. Great location.

Disliked: we actually stayed in the Kiss Hostel, the sister of the guesthouse, the booking didn't make this particularly clear, only the website said it. make sure you go to the right place.

Liked: The location was pretty good, was a good kitchen.

Disliked: We booked a 4 person bedroom but came in a 6 bedroom. In addition the wifi didn't work and at the check out day we couldn't let our bags at the hostel so we had to drop them somewhere at the station. The bathroom wasn; t so clean either..

Liked: Very nice, newly renovated and clean apartment at an excellent location plus friendly staff. Small problems at checkout as they insisted to charge over 100 euros too much, but after a few phone calls our bill was settled correctly.

Liked: Tonka is the loveliest person ever! The place is amazing with the most awesome view of the city. It can be hard to reach to by car but it is great value for money!!

Liked: Two words - loved it!!! This place was exactly what we were looking for, little studio with mini kitchen, bed, fridge, and bathroom. Bruno was fantastic, he lives upstairs and we were down stairs, they did not bother us at all, but were there to help out, just make sure you bring a map if you are going to try and find it yourself, tourist info not so much of a help, ie there is none!!! Walking from cruise terminal was a hike especially going up all the steps leading up to the apartment. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!!!

Liked: Bruno is a great host, the apartment (palma) is about 15 mins walk from the bus/ferry but in a great location up the hill. It has everything you need and is quite large.
