Liked: Good hostel but massively understaffed. There was no one there at check out and wasn't going to be for a while so I lost my key deposit.

Liked: Nice location but staff were non existent, they were late in the morning for check in and people needing to check out missed there trains. Showers were cold and it was quite expensive for what it was.

Liked: We arrived at the hostel to find the hostel had overbooked and had not been keeping up with emails from hostelbookers etc. We were told we would be taken to better more expensive accomodation instead of the dorm we originally booked. In fact we were taken to a disgusting place, really not worth what we had paid. There were beds in the kitchen next to the fridge, no hot water, mattresses on the floor, holes in the roof etcwe went back to complain and were given a slight refund but not enough.the second night we got to stay in the dorm we orginally booked.The hostel had freezing cold, ICE cold showers all the time!!!other than that was an ok stay.

Liked: This hostel was rubbish! FREEZING cold showers, which we were told was because there are so many people they dont put the hot water on! as many people as possible shoved in one room with bunk bed upon bunk bed and the staff are really unfriendly and unhelpful. The only good thing about this place is the location.

Liked: A lot of stupid rules and annoying things about this hostel - we were put in a private appartment for the first night, would have been nice if there wasn't a wierd elderly croatian woman walking in unannounced whenever she felt like it just to yell at us in croatian - had no idea what she was saying of course and resorted to locking the bedroom door on her so she couldn't walk in. when we were in the hostel, told wireless was free - its not, you have to pay for it upstairs and then they refund only an hours worth of it. kitchen - why advertise self catering fascilities when you don't allow guests to cook? turned the air-con off at night and confiscated the remote, when you are sleeping is when you need it the most. wouldn't allow us to stay in the common room of the hostel after we had checked out, a little inconvenient when we didn't have a bus until 10pm, every other hostel lets you stay, plus we had to pay for bag storage which is really just leaving our bags in the hallway. showers weren't exactly private, may aswell have showered in full view of everyone - shower curtains don't quite cover the cubicles and there is very little point when half the cubicle is made of those see through glass blocks that are transparent enough to see the person next to you - didn't exactly feel comfortable.

Liked: Great location, reallz nice clean rooms showers and bathrooms, even had tv and couch in each room. Though in the summer heat the small portable air con did nothing when you are on the top bunk.

Liked: Had a great stay, not too difficult to find, smack bang near the action in town, clean, and friendly. Wifi would've been handy, but internet is right upstairs anyway. Brilliant time, very comfortable and spacious.

Liked: The view from our apartment here was spectacular. The facilities were excellent and well laid out. Staff were initially helpful and pleasant, didn't run into them the rest of the time. Would've liked a swimming pool, but you can't have everything. It's a bit of a hike up the hill from where ever you are, but worth it. Pickup from ferry / bus station was quick and efficient and a fun lil race up the winding roads. Was a great start to our holiday!

Liked: they accidentally double booked us for the first night but when we turned they found us a bed next door, they were honest and help and we got to stay in the place the next night and were really friendly

Liked: Good location,bad directions on hostel booker website though.........friendly staff but not very well ran as was que of people waiting to check in that lasted from around ten until near one!but was clean and rooms were nice so all in all not bad

Liked: the single rooms are not in the hostel but in nearby apartments, very good location of apartments, in the center of the old town, lovely bar next door.

Liked: Location was the best feature of this hostel- also for as many people as they accomodate, the rooms were clean and well kept. Great place to meet other travelers!
