Placida Hostel is a beautiful place for young backpackers and is situated in the old town, which is only 5 minutes by walk from the harbour, train station, airport and bus station. We offer 25 beds in spacious, renovated and beautifully colored rooms!

Airport is 25 kilometres away from center. If you coming by train, bus or ferry, you need to walk 5 minutes to the Palace.
City is small and easy and best for you that ask somebody where is Zara, National Theatre, or main street Marmontova. When you are there, ask for Splitska banka - it has the same entrance as the hostel in a big pink building .
Come through the main door and on the second floor you will see the entrance with a note - HOSTEL.
If you arrive by plane you have option;
1st;we can pick up you for 37 euro by taxi from hostel. Airport is 25 kilometres away from the city center.
if you come by bus from airport just take the bus number 60 - you will have to drive for about 45 minutes since it stops often but from the last stop you will have to ask again for National theater and Splitska banka - and you are there! Everything is rather close - you just need to get to know the place!
