Liked: The owners were very helpful and friendly- the location couldn't get any better, right in the old town off of a gorgeous square.

Disliked: There is only one washroom, during the high season I can imagine it gets a bit crowded.

Liked: Fantastic location in he old town, down a little alley which was great and right next to a bar/cafe. Really that is the selling point of this hostel. Hostel was clean, quite small but a little common room, big lockers for your backpack (if you have a small backpack). Air con in the rooms was great as it was baking hot. Also free internet.

Disliked: Not much atmosphere, pretty much just a place to stay, for instance the hostel didn't really do social events or anything like other places I've stayed at. Also there was no kitchen. The guy on the desk when I arrived was pretty surly, as it was my first stop on my holiday and I was alone I felt pretty unwelcome, although the girl who worked there was nice.

Liked: Air conditioning!!! In the middle of august this is crucial!! The room is clean and the bathroom is big. And the location couldn't be better.

Disliked: It's a bit hard to find the hostel.

Liked: Was actually staying at Sunseekers Hostel (was picked up from Guesthouse Bulovic by a staff member from Sunseekers and taken there). The hostel was clean and pretty simple, and in an excellent central location.

Disliked: Only one bathroom, was often occupied. There is no kitchen or room to prepare food.

Liked: Amazing hostel, beautiful old building with tall ceilings, but also very modern. The staff were extremely helpful, sit you down upon arrival to show you a map of the old town. Advice on where to eat, drink and party. Cannot say enough good things about the staff!!! Beds were comfortable and room spacious with AC!!! Everything very clean and open!

Liked: Best hostel I've stayed in. Beautiful big clean room and bathroom, fantastically helpful staff. Great location (old town), easy to get everywhere. Free PC, Wi-Fi, definitely stay again.

Liked: Lovely rooms, decorated well. Close to the bus, train and ferry port.

Disliked: we were given an address and instructions which were great. We arrived between the times we said on the hostel booking page. We got there and rang the door bell, no answer. We assumed they had gone to meet others off the boat/bus/ferry so we waited, and waited and waited....... No one arrived after over half an hour. We had to phone (we of course is very expensive abroad). No one answered the number on the email after several attempts. We found another number on the wall so phoned that. They did not speak good English so had to explain several times (again v expensive!!). Someone did come. The address on hostel bookers, directions on map and sign above the door was not actually where we were staying and were walked further down. This is not what you want after a days worth of travelling!

Liked: nothing

Disliked: We were in a sort of cellar, in a bedrom for 8 people. There where no conditionned air, a very dirty bathroom with no washbsin, the kitchen was dirty. I'm pretty sure it was not even legal. Thank for us we had just one night spend there. There were no lockers for our lagage, no one to check out, we just had to live the keys on the fridge... This was a complete swindling.

Disliked: really hard to find, directions provided are insane, a random on the street had to show me to the hostel after I walked around looking for over an hour

Liked: The ladies on reception were very helpful and friendly. The lockers in rooms and free internet were good.

Disliked: We did not like having to moved into a different hostel halfway across town when we arrived. The man who works at the hostel is miserable and grumpy with no customer service skills. There are no kitchen facilities and / or cutlery & crocery which make self-catering impossible. There was only 1 bathroom / toilet for the girls which meant long queues to get to a toilet or sink.

Liked: The staff are really helpful (coming to find me when i got lost!), the atmosphere is lovely, it was more like having a temporary home!

Disliked: No lockers or breakfast/kitchen (kettle etc) only a fridge

Liked: Fantastic location. The owner is super helpful and friendly - she did a wash for us and even bought our son a birthday present. Lovely clean bathroom with lots of clean towels. Very easy to walk to all major sites and port and bus station.

Disliked: It seems pricey - but we found a lot of the hostels in Croatia to be quite expensive for what you actually get, so this is not a criticism of this hostel specifically.

Liked: we stayed in the 'sunseekers hostel' part of guesthouse bulevic which was located in the diocletian palace area of the city. the staff were very helpfull all of the time we were there and the hostel itself was great. there was free internet and a free water cooler in the lounge.water coolers arent anything special but nowhere else we stayed had one so it was really usefull and a great idea!

Liked: Unfortunately, the lessor didn't speak much English, but he tried his best to explain everything and was very nice and friendly. The shared bathroom was great and there are actually two showers. The location is great, right next to the market and the diocletianpalace. Like about Split: Great and beautiful bars...

Disliked: If you have a car, it's a little difficult to find a cheap parking space. You can't just park the car in front of the apartment. You have to walk a little bit... Dislike about Split: The Bacvice Beach is not really inviting :(

Liked: This has been my favourite hostel in Croatia! The lady that runs this hostel gave us a very warm welcome. The location is great (5 minute walk from bus/ferry station). Our room was immaculate, with character and had air conditioning, a fan and a fridge. We were offered maps and info about Split. I had a cough when I was at the hostel and the owner had noticed this and very kindly brought in some cough medicine! You could not hope for a better hostel and host!!
