Liked: the owners are very polite and nice mother and doughter. and the location is perfect. 1 minute to old town and 10 minutes walk to bus station and ferries

Disliked: yakut left no negative feedback.

Liked: The cheapest property and its worth for this money! And they checked me in in the early morning. And location is perfect!!!

Liked: The location of this property was good.

Disliked: On our arrival we were told that they had overbooked and although we had payed a deposit this didn't actually guarentee a place to stay. We were told that we could sleep on the terrace at a discounted rate. There were also 11 others sleeping on the terrace! We were able to sleep in a dorm for one night, which again was overbooked and they managed to squeeze 13 people in an 8 bed dorm.... i recommend the terrace- much cooler! The bathroom was pretty grim, freezing cold showers and the tiniest toilet!

Liked: Good location

Disliked: The is a lack of security, when we arrived around 7am the frontdoor was wide open and the guy at reception was asleep, the rooms dont lock so anyone could have walked in. People had asked for their passports to be put in the saftey deposit box but instead they were just left in a side draw. We had booked to stay in a 10 bed dorm but they had lost our booking and overbooked so the was 14 people sharing the room. We had to sleep on campbeds and two girls had to share a top bunk. To get to our "en-suite" we had to walk through the reception, the common room and the kitchen. The oven was also not working. If you want a cheap bed for the night then it would do.

Disliked: The hostel was very expensive and unclean for example there was blood and dirt on the bedsheets , on the bedpost there was what looked like a vomit stain . the toilets had no lock other than a weak magnet , only one of the toilets had a seat and the toilet paper was in very short supply . the kitchen was dirty and the oven / hobs didnt work so there were no cooking facilities as advertised , no kettle , we were forced to cook pasta in a microwave . they charged you for the use of the internet . the owners were very unfriendly and created a horrible atmosphere which made it very uncomfortable. you could not bring your own alcohol into the hostel but instead they offered to sell you beer at extortionate prices. they tried to push the bar crawl on you forcefully . the security in the hostel was next to none , with no lockers or front door key. an example of this is when i walked in at 4 oclock in the morning and the only security was a sleeping member of staff on the sofa . myself and 5 other people made up of three different groups decided to leave due to the poor overall quality of this excuse for a hostel..would highly advise that you do not choose this hostel to stay in ,in my opinion it should be closed down.

Liked: the location

Disliked: everything else.... The Toilet didnt even have prper doors, there where no lockers there, the oven in the kitchen was broken, no locks on the dorms.... Everything a proper hostel should have, they didnt.

Liked: The location is unbeatable. The rooms are a good size and everything is clean. Reception is friendly and amenable. Loved the terrace as a common area in fine weather.

Disliked: no hand towels or tea-towels, not enough toilet paper for 24 hours, the girls showers open onto a door into the kitchen (no privacy there). No drainer for dishes so they swim in a tray of water. No hot water in any sinks. Beware the showers run cold. There is no locker only a keyless cupboard. There were always guys (not guests) sleeping on the terrace, the only common area.

Liked: Unbeatable location, opposite palace gate, in the market and v v close to supermarkets, ferry port and bus station. Fairly clean, and until room was overcrowded lots of space, big bunks. Good wifi.

Disliked: Unapologetic, fairly useless staff. Kitchen broken, had to find this out for ourselves. Booked a ten bed girls dorm, ended up being full with three extra camp beds set up in including a guy sleeping there and VERY hot (no air con). People sleeping on beds in corridor and on terrace, there was a huge thunderstorm overnight and they and all their stuff were utterly soaked.

Liked: Great location, there is a fridge and a common area. the price is OK and the location is perfect. For one night it is OK.

Disliked: The kitchen was dirty and didnt make you want to cook, but the price is OK and the location is perfect. We lived in the female only dorm, and it was pretty noisy because the wall had a huge hole in it on top. Not very safe, no lockers and anyone could walk in anytime. But for one night it is OK.

Liked: It was clean, despite what other reviews have said, and there was evidence of continual cleaning. Security was unusual, and the lockers described were no more than a cupboard behind the front desk, but nothing was stolen during our stay from within the hostel. The balcony was a great place to chill out before heading out on the town, with other like minded and young people. Internet access and staff who didn't mind out raucous behavior were also a benefit.

Disliked: It could have been more secure. Keys were provided to the rooms, but individual lockers would have been better.

Liked: Location very good! Room n toilets clean!! everything is fine!! Computer not enough, but not a big deal! Kitchen still can't use now, but I think after finish renovate, this hostel will be very good to stay!!

Liked: the best hostel in which I slept in Croatia. owner of the hostel was renovated so that the mattresses, beds and everything else new. welcomed us very comfortable and friendly. nice fun and I met other interesting people who also slept in a hostel. I would recommend this hostel for all who travel to the split.

Disliked: everything was great so there is no more what I did not like

Liked: Nearly every room has an own bathroom/toilet

Disliked: mice in the rooms eating my chocolate, unfriendly staff not cleaning bathrooms and asking guests not to bring alcohol to the hostel (ok) but partying on their own every evening (not ok), outstanding prices for internet-usage

Liked: Location is good, but nothing else

Disliked: Our booking was given away, staff were rude, laughed at our situation. Made us pay $20 AUssie to sleep on lylos in other people´s dorms when it wasnt our booking error in first place! Same happened to many others after us too= very dodgy hostel They take arrival time very seriously

Liked: we got relocated to this pub/cabin room which was amazing. we were a group of 5girls staying in basically our own place. we had a kitchen, two toilets, a shower and AC.

Liked: It was right on the backside of the Palace, which would have been great if we wera ctually meant to stay there...

Disliked: Booking via the hostel booking website only guarantees the proprietor has fresh stoolies to shuffle off to his cohorts' inferior properties. We paid for a triple en suite right in the Old Town and got fobbed off to a private room where we were told we weren't allowed to use all three beds and which had a bathroom down the hall -- and it was far from the Old Town. As we had already paid the non-refundable deposit, we felt stuck. Avoid this "hostel" unless you enjoy being scammed.

Liked: there are 2 toilets for all the guests and you cannot close because there is no keys. The door of one of them is even of plastic.We were supposed to have a room for 4 people but the owner said there wasn't such room free so we had to sleep 3 in one room and other in other room with a discount. By the way, if you woke up in the middle of the night to go to toilet don't be scared with the man sleeping on the couch, he is the receptionist or the owner!!
