Liked: Everything! Sanda is very friendly and welcoming. Huge, spacious apartment with modern and very clean facilities. Wish we could stay longer!

Liked: It's close to the Riva & the old town. The studio was very good with all appliances available. Sandra wS very helpful on what to do in the area . The apartment was clean & very modern in a heritage protected building.

Disliked: It wasn't a problem for us but the apartment was on the 4 th floor with no lift & we are mature aged.

Liked: The apartment was self contained and fully furnished in a location fairly close to the palace. The owner was very friendly and agreed to meet us at the sea front and walked us to the hostel, she even drove one of us to the pharmacy.

Disliked: A new block of apartments is currently being built right next door to the hostel and although the noise wasn't particularly disturbing it was not mentioned.

Liked: This is a lovely compact apartment on the 4th floor of an imposing building in Split. It's well laid out with a mezzanine level with twin beds, a small shower room with WC, a small kitchen, dining area and sitting area. It's a good location at the end of the main pedestrianised street in a big red house. The owner met us outside the apartment as we arrived late in the evening, she was really helpful and friendly and gave us tips on where to visit whilst we were in Split. The apartment had air-con and a flatscreen TV and was quite safe. It's a residential flat so no chance of meeting other travellers, but it's great for 2 / 3 friends as a base for exploring the area.

Disliked: It's on the top (4th) floor of the building, about 8 flights of stairs, so not ideal for anyone who can't climb stairs as there is no lift. The apartment is compact and due to the mezzanine bedroom it's probably not safe for children as the perspex walls aren't very high.
