Cosy and laid back, a ‘home from home’..... Al's Place Hostel offers the chance to stay in the heart of the Old Town, Split, Croatia. In a hostel with kitchen, common area, and an English speaking host who cares about his guests. The staff can also provide info about most things local or the best and cheapest way to do trips to the islands.

Easy going and laid back, with only 14 beds it's really easy to get to know fellow travelers and share tips and info. We do NOT have WI-FI so guests have a chance to talk instead of "chat". We sometimes get together and go for a beer (not a PUB-Crawl) We can also provide info about rooms and apartments nearby for couples who want some privacy for around €50 a night

The nearest beach, Bacivice, is about 15 mins walk away, on a hot day. Nicer beaches are 20 mins away.
