Liked: The staff were very nice , they showed us all the hotspot for thw city and marked them on a map for us to remember. They even invited us to a family supper and gave us food and wine. We went to a soccer game with one of the staff and he drove us there for free. Great place , great people!

Disliked: U actually need to pay 40Kuna to do your laundry.

Liked: Very small hostel and very helpful staff.

Disliked: Staff was not present all the time, and was not sure when the staff would be around. There are no office hours posted, but the staff is very helpful.

Liked: Very nice, helpful staff, very clean beds and bathrooms. Very quiet hostel. The way it was set up, it felt more like staying at someone's home than a random hostel with strangers (yes, the rooms have bunks, but it still felt much more intimate than commercial). And there is a garden with turtles!

Disliked: This is a hike from the city center and I got lost twice trying to find it my first time there. There is only one bathroom with toilet for 9 beds - this was somewhat inconvenient at times when all you needed was the toilet and other people were taking showers. Also, the internet was not so reliable.

Liked: small and friendly; free internet; not to far from center but away from the crowds and very quiet; quiet travelers

Disliked: only one bathroom for 9 people and the lock was very tricky; no breakfast included and I thought the price was actually not good value; the two dorms had a shared storage area that linked to the shared bathroom

Liked: Had an absolutely wonderful time. The owners went absolutely out of their way to ensure I had a great experience in split. They even drove me to the shops and took me out for coffee. The place is great for s little bit of relaxation. Very clean.

Disliked: Place is a little bit of a trek up a hill, which is a bit of a pain with baggage.

Liked: The owner was awesome and really helpful with everything, nice and chilled in the evenings and the rooms were really clean. Good sized lockers and free internet/wifi.

Disliked: Nothing, it was brilliant.

Liked: Its quietness - a nice change from all the 'snooze and booze' hostels to be found in the old town! A comfortable 10 minute walk from the bus station/ferry terminal.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: This hostel was recommended to me by another traveller. Totally recommend it! The owners are the most helpful B&B staff Ive ever met - they had brillant advice on what to do, where to go and how to get there, and its got a great atmosphere for meeting people too. And there really are turtles!

Liked: Very clean and in a quiet neighborhood, though a bit of a walk from the main bus station. Even though my flight was delayed and I arrived late, the staff left behind instructions and keys so I could get in.

Disliked: Directions on Hostelbookers.com website could be made more clear. The place was a little tricky to find.

Liked: The character of the place was great. there really are turtles! The rooms are clean and set out well, theres a proper bathroom, thats actually big enough to manouvre in and youre not brushing your teeth next to a stranger! The common room was lovely, kitchen facilities, dining/chill out area, computer. The common room is like being in someones home, feels really comforting when youve been travelling for a while!

Liked: The staff were really happy and friendly, went overboard to give us all the info we needed to have a fun holiday in split. Met some interesting people, the computer with internet and wifi on the property were handy. Didn't take long to get to the main town.

Disliked: A little difficult to find the hostel at first, and there was a bit of a wait for the bathroom as the two rooms were sharing one bathroom.

Liked: The beds were comfortable; there is a grocery store about a 5 min. walk away; the staff was very friendly and helpful; free wifi; it is a very small hostel (max 9 beds), which, if you are looking for a more quiet and relaxed atmosphere, is perfect. There is a common room to hang out in and a little garden that actually has turtles.

Liked: Their is two dorms and a lounge area and kitchen. Their is noone around most of the time so you can do your own thing but this also means noone to ask questions most of the time. Its a 15-20 min walk into the main city centre. Its windy streets but straight forward enough.Their have turtles in the backyard hence the name :)
