Liked: The premises comprise an ordinary appartment on top (4th) floor of a block in a mainly residential area. It is near the top of the hill and a fair uphill walk from both town centre and beach area.

Disliked: The appartment is totally infested with bed bugs - to be this bad I assume this is not a recent development. My children had to seek medical attension following being bitten and were so badly marked that they were embarrassed to go outside for several days. We had a total lack of sympathy or assistance from the staff who previously had been helpful re airport pick-up

Liked: It was big. You have a kitchen and a fridge.

Disliked: Owner wasn't there when we arrived. An other (nice) girl let us in. She cleaned the room well but did not tell us a lot. So, late at evening, all the sudden an old man walks into the apartment, when my girlfreind was showering. It was a bit strange. Apparantly he was anoid by the noise or something. I asked the owner, and the only thing she said was that we had to keep it quiet, and the bathroom was private. There is no airconditiong in the bedroom and the apartment looked very dated. If you like the old former soviet-union buildings, this is your place. Atmosphere is bad. Even though it was a cheap room, we didn't like it. We slept a lot better for less in Dubrovnik. Also a very touristic place! Shower was really bad. No hot water and light-switches did not work after one night!?

Liked: Wonderfully clean, great kitchen, 24hr hot water, washing machine and a great little sitting area with big tv.

Disliked: We never had a fan, so the room was very hot and sticky at night....

Liked: Good location, just 15 minute walk from centre of Split. Also next door to a restaurant (we didn't go to in the end, but always smelt amazing!) and a small shop. There is a bigger supermarket 5 minutes away. Very helpful staff, eager to help and very friendly. Owner's niece speaks very good English and described how to get into town - she only lives upstairs so easy contact if need be. Kitchen was good, and nice to have a fridge and TV!

Disliked: Smaller than looks in pictures, can be a bit of a squeeze with two people and luggage. Also quite dark room, but didn't bother us too much as we were out all day. Also costs quite a lot for airport transfer, we didn't realise how easy it would have been to get the bus into Split, and much cheaper too (16kuna compared to 250kuna for private pickup).
