Liked: location is perfect, girl working there - nice and talkative. room / bathroom / kitchen - all very clean. wireless internet worked without problems. rooms are old and simple / the building is old but there's nothing wrong with that - just adds the atmosphere; it's a perfect value for the money.

Disliked: nothing to complain on. water in the shower wasnt hot but warm enough.

Liked: Location, well equipped kitchen.

Disliked: Took ages to find office. Lady who owned the house had moved out for me to stay there - she'd pop in, and woke me up at 7am one morning!

Liked: Good balance between price and quality.

Disliked: It would be better if they will have a small table at least in the single rooms.

Liked: The location was good.

Disliked: The staff were unfriendly when they finally turned up, scolding us to hurry up and get the cash out to pay for the room. The door handle to our room also fell off causing us to be locked in the room for a period of time. The room that we were staying in literally just had a double bed, the toilet and kitchen were across a corridor, but not the private room we were expecting!

Liked: Great location - right in the middle of Diocletian Palace.

Disliked: Accommodation was ok, we had a private room (a box room with a window overlooking a wall) which came with a bed and a fan (no storage and shelves), it was alright for a transit stay. I would not stay there for couple of days as I would feel claustrophobic.

Liked: Very good location overlooking the main square. Our 6 person room was nice and spatious.

Disliked: Quite noisey. Staff were not to helpful and we had to ask to get a key for our room. Shower was ALWAYS cold. Not especially amazing value for money.

Liked: its location. you couldnt have been any closer. it was an amazing location.

Disliked: there was nothing to dislike. it was very basic but thats what it said on the tin

Liked: it was located right in the middle of the old town, within the walls of diocletian palace.

Disliked: the old interior, the dirt, the fact that we were not given what we had booked. the telephone number did not work.

Liked: They didnt have the Private twin room with sea view so they upgraded us to an apartment for us. Very pleased

Liked: We were upgraded for the same price and ended up with an amazing one bedroom apartment. Stunning location and incredible value for money. If I ever return this will be the first place I think of staying! the host was very friendly and helpful as well. Absolutely loved the place and the city!

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Good central location (although quite difficult to find at first).

Disliked: Only one shower for what could probably have been up to 20 people staying in the hostel could have proved annoying...wasn't too bad but maybe more facilities would be good.

Liked: The actual hostel has an excellent location for the price.

Disliked: We booked to stay for three nights in the 'sea-view' room but beware! Read the small print - the sea view room is a half an hour walk from the old town at 45 mins to Bacvice beach whereas the hostel itself overlooks the cathedral inside the old town. Staff agreed to move us to the hostel for the final night of our stay where the atmosphere and location was much better.

Liked: very well situated, in the heart of the city center possible to negociate the price in case of bad satisfaction

Disliked: 1) frozen shower 2) I was supposed to have an appointment at 8 am with the owner of the hostel, someone arrived at 10 am, and before we were just not sur that it was the good "hstel" because nothing was written like "hostel palace" 3) it's a flat and not a hostel, so real neighbours are living near to this flat, so of course when 20 people are in a same flat it makes noise and neighbours are disturbed and complain

Liked: nicely decorated place, great location right smack in old town.

Disliked: management is a little haphazard - owners were not there when i arrived, but a really nice neighbour stood in for them instead. would be nice if the kitchen had more than just one chair for such a big table.

Liked: Right in the centre of town.

Disliked: There seems to be no staff. We arrived and had to phone to get in. They said just go in and the key to our room was in the door, we paid by giving the money to the cleaner.

Liked: The location was fantasic, it was in the heart of split although it is hard to find especially at night.

Disliked: We had asked for a double room and the first night was given a dorm room, although to ourselves we'd paid for the double. The handle of the door was falling off and you could lock yourself in the room. There was no fan, even though we repeatedly asked and staff promised us there would be. I was bitten by something in that first night, possibly bed bugs.

Liked: The location is great. Amazing actualy.

Disliked: Safety the doors did not lock. No lockers or safety boxes. Facilities were poor, one shower for all 18 people in the hostel. No hot water unless you were first in shower.

Liked: It's location was fantastic, right in the centre of Split.

Disliked: The room was unclean and there was one shower for at least 15 guests. They also overbooked the accommadation, for us and others - as such our planned restful stay of two nights resulted in us moving after just one night both times - which wasn't what we had booked for - and caused one morning in Split to be spent wasted, waiting to see if we were being moved across the Old Town or not. They also didn't know who we were when there the next day.
